I've never been exposed to old school NWA/AWA whatever... I'm just wondering how Nikita Koloff ever became a face? I was watching Great American Bash 1987 and during WarGames Nikita was on the face team. What is up with that? He was still wearing tights that said CCCP on it. I couldn't imagine anybody cheering him during the Cold War. Could somebody explain this?

I think Bischoff is a great on screen GM. He has historical value.... and even if they only use him for match making it helps tell the story. How many times have storylines been created or furthered by people demanding matches and stuff from Bischoff? I think that is a useful role and he's the only person who seems to have the "credentials" to be in that role due to his experience with WCW.

I don't feel like starting a new thread. But what is the appeal of Austin Aries? I've watched a handful of his matches and I find him rather boring. I've never really been impressed by anything he can do. Why was he champ and also given the oppertunity to be a trainer at the ROH school? I just don't see his appeal at all... he's very bland to me.

A title is just a prop. They can always rebuild anything that may be lost. Nothing terrible has happened here.

Yeah the Smoking Skull was dumb. Why couldn't he have just had a special leather put on the normal title like Warrior. He could've had the regular title face plates and stuff with Snake Skin or something. That would've been much better. Oh and Winged Eagle for me.... it seemed like it had a much better design... the big gold just looked like it was blank... although the new smaller more curvy Big Gold title looks tonnes better than the old school one. I like the JBL's style WWE title.. it looked like crap when Taker had it though way back.

I wouldn't get happy about Benoit being out of HHH's reach just yet. Its still very possible that he wins Hell In A Cell and then get drafted over to Smackdown. Also, we unfortunatly might miss out on another Benoit/Angle feud as I have a feeling that he'll be moving over to RAW.
