Eddy/Batista could be seen as minority main event as could Rock/Booker from Summerslam 2001.

I withdraw my question.

Bischoff's not going to appear tonight is he?
-
And The Disiple's Apocalypse. ...geez, what did Masters do to get jobbed like this? Not defy human biology and maintain his physique without the needed medication.
-
That was DDP. I thought it was Kanyon.

Didn't Mr. Bob Backlund attend University of Minnesota? I thought Flair went to Minnesota as well. Wikipedia's got nothing, but if anybody's got the answer feel free to correct me.

Didn't Mr. Bob Backlund attend University of Minnesota? North Dakota State University.

I wonder if WWE will ever want to spite Brock so much that they'll make Shelton a world champion just so he can be called as the most sucessful wrestler from the University of Minnesota.

I call a run in by a member of the Court during the main event. Would let Lita get the screwy pinfall and build for Smackdown.
-
I would legitmately mark for Boogie Knights.

Maya Inca Boy and THQ Man

Glad to hear that JR thinks the Marines are always ready to suck it.

The lost baby sketch with Ferrell, Parnell, Meadows, and Shannon was so random and bizarre I can't help but love it. I still laugh everytime I see Tim as Dr. Steven Poop. -
And it gets weirder.

Damn, Gorilla looked ugly back in the day. Actually seemed far better when he was an announcer.

Hey I guess we really did need to see the first ten minutes of Raw.
-
Raw promos airing on USA seem to be hinting at a new authority. Something akin to with Vince and Shane out of power, somebody's going to fill the void. Even going as far to specifically state, "You don't want to miss the first 10 minutes of Raw." Probably another bait and switch like they did with Coach back in May, but we'll see.

Well only one man fit to fill this job now. Suckas gots to know.

Has the Raw main event scene ever been this stale?

With Cena/Edge its a murky point, as though repetitive its produced some alright matches, with Unforgiven being the highlight. Crap like DX/McMahons has no excuse as its done purely for Vince and Stephanie's amusement. Longer fueds with many matches aren't necessarily harmful. Lashley/Finlay (or Lashley/King's Court) this year worked well because the focus was largely match based, with not too many promos or unneeded hype videos, and really just guys getting in the ring beating the shit out of each other. Moreover it got both Lashley and Finlay over and credible in a short amount of time. -
Interesting counter to the scissor kick with the chair.

I got a weird Von Erich esqe vibe from Dupree in that promo, but I'm not completely sure why.

The bizarre thing is given Smackdown's lack of talent, they've had fairly different main event feuds since the start of the year. Raw's had none of the injury/suspension problems SD's had and yet they've repeated the same programs ad nauseum. -
Nah, they're promoting Cena making an appearance on the WWE.com preview.

No Vito in the main event slot for Smackdown apparently. And more Cena for everybody. From WWE.com This Friday marks the long-awaited premiere of SmackDown on the CW network. The program that is changing Friday nights will make the transition in grand fashion as SmackDown brings a huge night of action to the CW Network. John Cena to make SmackDown appearance New WWE Champion and RAW Superstar John Cena will make a special Friday night appearance to personally thank General Manager Theodore Long for the SmackDown contract offer. WWE.com has learned that Long has something special in mind for the visiting Champion. Challenge from the grave WWE.com has also learned that Vito has voluntarily surrendered his opportunity at King Booker's World Heavyweight Championship on Friday. Instead, the dress-wearing fan-favorite has passed the match on to the legendary Undertaker. What will happen when the Deadman makes a rare SmackDown appearance and enters King Booker's Royal SmackDown Kingdom at the huge CW premiere? Bitter family fued continues We also know that Rey Mysterio will face Chavo Guerrero this Friday. Last week, the Chavo-Vickie business partnership once again found a way to distract the downtrodden Mysterio. Rey looked as though he was finally back on his game when he entered the arena with his son, Dominick. However, when he saw Chavo and Vickie enter his private locker room where Dominick was watching the match, Rey’s smile gave way to an apprehensive stare and United States Champion Mr. Kennedy capitalized on the distraction to score the win. Will Chavo and Vickie still be in Rey’s head next week on CW? Can Rey finally settle the score when he meets Chavo in the ring for the first time since SummerSlam? CW Superstar Batista to kickoff CW premiere Also, former World Heavyweight Champion and CW acting star Batista will open the CW premiere. What will the Animal have to say on his first night in his new home?
