Jeremy Piven as Ari Gold, Entourage (HBO) I could probably pick other actors who have put on technically better performances or even had bigger roles but fuck it, I don't think I've had more fun watching somebody on a TV show since I don't know when. Some people say that the show is about Vince and while I won't argue against it I think that it's just as much about Ari too. The combination of sarcasm, swearing and swagger that Piven brings to this role is unfuckwithable. For those who've seen Entourage it's already a known thing. Ari runs that show, hands down. When he shows up at Josh Weinsteins house in season one and proceeds to own him in front of his entire party, that's good. When he's done and takes a sip of Josh's momosa followed by "That's awful"........that's brilliant. Piven himself knows exactly how to tweak this role as he's been the bit-player in Hollywood for twenty-something years now and here he is finally playing the hot shot. I dig how he portrays Ari as barely human but when his humanity is exposed it's humbling and well done ala the scenes late in season two with Vince and Eric. In short, Piven rules it all. Whatcha got?

Me and Rudo are seeing this at the local theatre for two reasons: 1) Way cheaper (unless you get theatre food, then the price balances out) 2) Making fun of stupid kids and old-school fans

Depends on who you talk to about Bonnar. I'd say he's solid all-around in terms of standup, ground and conditioning. Rashad is a very good wrestler but I don't see him hurting Bonnar with GNP or threatening with a submission. Rashad's boxing wasn't terrible against Sam but Bonnar's hands and feet are light-years beyond anything Rashad posseses. In short this is Bonnars fight to lose.

Coupla weeks until MMAdness begins and this is one of the shows we'll be seeing. UFC is testing Rashad hardcore and it's even to the point where I think they want to see him get his ass stomped in. Leben's getting a test too but this isn't an unwinnable fight for him either.

Wow, Edge is really hurting that Awesome and Tanaka put on a better hardcore match with no prep time on a low-budget show then anything he's ever done. When Edge almost gets impled by a table leg on a top-rope powerbomb then he can talk.
