  1. I need to work on reading full sentances.
  2. That's gotta be considered a dissapointment for Superman, even with the long weekend. The studio's were hoping for at least 80+.
  3. That would actually be a very intresting fight. Both have good standup (with Jackson getting the edge) and both are good wrestlers with nice ground and pound (with Tito taking this one). Rampage, even in defeat has faced higher levels of competition then Tito has in a while but this probably wouldn't mean much in the grand scheme of things.
  4. I'm going to talk to Rudo to try and get him to come back for this folder at least. I think that it's the fact that one of the MOD's who pushed him into leaving sometimes frequents this folder that's keeping him from coming back.
  5. Gonzaga/Jordan was from UFC 56 in November. And seriously, that upset pales in comparison to Gomi/Aurelio, Mir/Cruz and even Overeem/Khanitorov.
  6. Fight of The Year- Fuck, this is a toughie. This of course could change but right now I'm going to go with Mark Hunt vs TK from PRIDE's Total Elimination Absolute 2006. Honourable mentions go to Penn/GSP, Forrest/Tito, Grove/Herman and Goulet/Cummo. Fighter of The Year- Spencer Fisher, so far. A fun bout with Aaron Riley @ UFN III and some really kickass stuff with Sam Stout and Matt Wiman. Looking forward to seeing a lot more of him this year. Show/PPV of The Year- UFC 58. Hominick/Edwards, Stout/Fisher, GSP/Penn and Franklin/Loiseau all were good-very good and the entire show clicked really well. KO of The Year- Guillard/Davis, UFC 60. Honourable mentions go to Vera/Eilers and Alfonso/Sakurai. Sub of The Year- Evan Tanner jumping down into the triangle choke on Justin Levens was pretty swank. Upset of The Year- Mark Hominick tapping Edwards. I could care less that the triangle was shitty Worst/Most Boring Fighter- Paulo Filhio dry-humping the Frog whose name escapes me @ Bushido was pretty shite. Worst/Most Boring Fight of The Year- Rashad Fucking Evans. Promotion of The Year- UFC. Personal MMA Moment of The Year- St. Pierre pulls it out. Right up there with Team Canada winning gold in Utah in terms of amazing sporting moments for me. Casa De Curry was jumpin'.
  7. Fight of The Year- Fighter of The Year- Show/PPV of The Year- KO of The Year- Sub of The Year- Upset of The Year- Worst/Most Boring Fighter- Worst/Most Boring Fight of The Year- Promotion of The Year- Personal MMA Moment of The Year- Just wondering where ya'll stack up when it comes to the above-mentioned topics. Feel free to add your own. Bring the intellectualism.
  8. LOST edition: - When Charlie was hung from the tree by Ethan and Jack went nutso trying to revive him. It was already confirmed at this point in the season that a main character would be dying and I thought Charlie was the one. I actually blurted out a "Thank God!" through my misty eyes when Jack brought him back. - "I've done everything you wanted me to do, so why did you do this to me"? ---------> Light goes on in the hatch. - Rose and Bernard's reunion. That was some bitch-ass, unabashed bawling.
  9. This could be called the Nick Diaz factor because even though the guy has lost 3 in a row he'll probably be brought back eventually because he has great fights. In PRIDE I think this is called the Akira Shoji factor (minus the good fights).
  10. 3 fights is usually the rule but there are certain guys that will always get another shot.
  11. So, are they going to reveal that Drama is the father of Shauna's baby or what?
  12. Depends on which fight you're talking about. Evans- Maybe (Held Down is a more appropriate term) Griffin- No
  13. I can't believe I forgot to add Steamwhistle Pilsner to this. Best Canadian beer.
  14. Best pizza I ever tried was at this joint in Chicago. I remember because of the fit-up Irish waitress that served us. Green olives, pepperoni and a whole goddamn lot of cheese. This of course is deep-dish style, buried beneath a few inches of crust. The only pizza I've ever had that can truly be called a pizza pie.
  15. They should kill Dom off just to reassure everybody that he'll never show up again. The killer? GARY F'N BUSEY.
  16. And reputable posters like Gogo to bring it to us. Yet the thread remains open......hmmmmmm.
  17. Thank God there are reputable news sites like LOP around to bring this pertinent info to the masses.
  18. Pwned? No......just......no. Wrong on all accounts. Beaten, yes. Pwned? Christ no.
  19. Ouch. I want to look at the breakdowns just to see how many people gradually tuned out of Bonnar/Evans once they realized it was destination Lay and Prayville.
  20. benoitrulz- Rudo quit the board. He's DVDVR exclusive now. Blame the WWE Folder MOD's.
  21. His first day with his pupils will be uncovering the secrets of the riddum.
  22. starvenger- Yes, Pulver still technically has the belt but I'm pretty sure he was stripped of it. All reports have been pointing towards Sherk getting a shot at the vacant title at his new weight class and the winner of Stout/Florian was supposedly the one who'd challenge him.
  23. It is not a good week to be in the Pac NW. Thank god McDonald and Hominick evened out the Stout tooling and Goulet helped top us off. Hominick should get the first shot at the newly crowned LW champ if the Sherk/Florian fight is going ahead.
  24. Honestly, Rashad should be relegated to undercards until he can learn to finish. No way that guy gets anywhere near a PPV card until then.
  25. Rogan saying the judge who scored Bonnar/Evans a draw should be shot was great, followed by "No, I'm not drunk or high".
