Rumours are right now that Wanderlei has inked a 3 fight deal with UFC. - Tito said "Another 2 or 3 elbows and I might've been the first person to kill somebody in the octagon". - Dana all but admitted it was a poor show but said that you can't expect to continue the roll you've been on for a while. - They hyped Monson up as the next challenger for Sylvia's title. Tim said he was a LHW fighting at HW and he'd get KO'd.

Sylvia fought a smart fight, Andrei didn't. When the gameplan you're going with fails you, change it up. The Pitbull was content to wade in with his left jabs and go for the big right hook. Sylvia had that solved after the second round but it didn't change up Arlovski's style at all. The worst part of that entire fight is that at the end of it neither guy deserved to win. They better have a badass main event for whatever card Monson vs Sylvia is on because there's no way in fuck that thing will sell a PPV on its own.

Burkman vs Neer was good but nothing special, aside from the triangle choke-bomb which was swank. Like I said, the heavyweight division is fucked. Their champion is a counterpuncher who moves slower then molasses. Thumbs in the middle, only for the Silva/Chuck staredown.

Edwards offering Joe a piece of his twix at the weigh-ins was great, as was Tito's reaction and Shamrocks ensuing smugness when Tito weighed in a half-pound more then Shammy.

Fuck does Arlovski ever need to win this fight. If he doesn't then we may very well see a Nog/Fedor situation develop where there's a guy good to enough to beat everybody but the champion. I'd imagine if Arlovski lost they'd build up Brandon Vera to take him on in the hopes Vera would win (which he could).
