I saw Benoit vs Angle at RR 03 the first time when I was stoned and I'm pretty sure I got an erection when Benoit hit his diving headbutt to Angle 3/4 of the way across the ring. Seriously. Fun Story: I called into Live Audio Wrestling (Toronto based radio show) totally funked outta my skull and proceeded to blabber on and on about how Benoit vs Brock on Smackdown was Godjesus. I was also dl'ing porn in the background and every time the clips finished a chime sounded. The host of the show thought that I was getting a ton of e-mails and suggested I should get off the phone to answer them. Kudo's to Dames for starting this thread. Speaking of Dames, I never pictured you as a smoker. Don't know why, just never did. Anybody else enjoy playing GTA: VC while high? That game's quality improves tenfold and the stunts/violence go from "hella cool" to "jumping around screaming like a girl mind blowing."

This of course is completely typical of the internet wrestling crowd: in one thread, hammer on unimportant "inconsistencies" in WWE programming, while in another, completely ignore the hatchet job That Fuck Jackson (tm. jdw) did on Lord of the Rings while calling the movie perfect and the greatest of all time and other such nonsense. And what exactly do wrestling and Lord of the Rings have to do with each other? Two different sets of criteria for two totally different things. Quit nitpicking, you look like a moron.

It was nowhere akin to a house show because it was broadcast on national fucking t.v and millions of people who saw Steve Austin loose his job @ Survivor Series just saw him somehow miraculously get it back. WWE didn't have to air the part where Austin stunned Vince, they could've just cut if off when he was giving gifts out to the crowd but they didn't.

In all likelyhood nothing really would've happened. Situations like this usually would result in the person responsible for the cash getting fired but since there would be no proof that they took it, they couldn't fire the person. An ex-employee of my store took our store deposit one time but the bank never got it and nobody knows what happened to it. Our Loss Prevention Dept. questioned her regarding it but since they couldn't prove anything nothing happened to her.

The Benoit/A-Train series of matches were overlooked by many. Benoit bumped like a freak and made Trains offense look deadly, Train took the rolling germans like a man and they worked the big man/little man match very well (ie. Benoit ducking to avoid Trains punches and rolling to avoid the bicycle kick). Benoit using the top rope for leverage to push Train back into the crossface was great.

I consider The Rock to be one charasmatic motherfucker but Kobashi eats him up and shits him out in the charisma dept. Ditto for any and all in-ring work. I think the only thing that Rock has Kobashi beat on is the mic.

I doubt this PPV in question will ever happen, simply because the WWE aren't going to flat-out say "Raw is better then Smackdown" or vice versa because that kills the ratings for the other show.
