  1. Oh fuck you Mik. That song is horrible.
  2. He is and I imagine if he turns in another head-dropping performance he'll make air. It's good that Dong/Brown is on the main card because with the exception of Chuck/Rashad I can see the other three fights all being decisions. A positive note is the last time UFC aired a PPV with a non-title main event (Hughes/Alves) they managed to show quite a few undercard bouts and with Karo/Yoshida being off we can hope for a full night.
  3. Now that I think more on it putting El Dongo on the main card is a very smart move especially considering Dana has said that they want to head to Korea in the next year or so. If that's the case they need to bring in ma'fuckin Jae Suk Lim. Korean Icepick!!
  4. Rogan just announced at the weigh-ins that Dong Hyun Kim vs Matt Brown will be the main card replacement. Interesting choice given their options and a huge oppurtunity for The Stun Gun to make a big impression on the American crowd. Speaking of, I'm hoping for a "Dong pounds Brown for 15 minutes" or something dirty-esque as the headline if he wins.
  5. Man, looking at pics from Karo at the weigh-ins that dude was not in fighting shape at all. Arms in particular looked skinny as hell, whether or not that's a factor we'll likely never know but this sucks. I wasn't ordering the show but this is going to hurt it pretty big as Karo/Yoshida was probbaly the most anticipated match amongst the hardcore fans alongside Kampmann/Nate. Speaking of, WAR HITMAN though if I was a betting guy I'd say Nate by UD due to being larger, stronger and in this case fighting a lot more converatively. Kampann, Sidechoke of Doom. Believe.
  6. People think There Will Be Blood is a Western? Not seeing that.
  7. FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK Karo vs Yoshida is cancelled due to Karo throwing out his back. I imagine MacDonald vs Lambert or Pellegrino vs Tavares will get bumped to the main card. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.
  8. As far as I see it there's pretty much nobody that could do it, especially with only a month and a bit to train. Fuck this sucks, even more so if it's as severe an injury as the article says.
  9. Rumors are going around that Thiago has a fucked-up back and had to pull out against Lyoto. There's a thread on Sherdog that links to www.intheguard.tv and on the main page there's a report saying that this is a potentially long-term injury. Hope it's bullshit but if not, FUCK. Also, if it's legit who the fuck will step up and fight Lyoto on this short notice?
  10. I'm simply interested to see if Silva is the guy to give Lyoto problems. Not saying he'll win but the gameplan for Lyoto seems to be balls-out agression which Thiago has.
  11. As I stated in CWDWAT 2005's The Proposition is fantastic. Story is about three brothers, two of whom are robbers and the other who's generally regarded as a complete pyscho. When the two robbers are caputred a local sherrif makes an offer to the middle brother: go out and kill the older pyscho brother or the youngest hangs. It's got a great cast with Guy Pearce, Ray Winstone, David Winham, Danny Houston, Emily Mortimer and John Hurt all turning in stellar performances and the scoring and directing by Nick Cave is top-shelf. Highly recommended.
  12. Agent- If you haven't seen it yet check out The Proposition. Aussie western directed, scored and written by Nick Cave. Fucking killer.
  13. I'd heard about this story but had no clue that Detroit's mayor was the worlds first black Irishman. Seriously, what's that dudes background?
  14. So, thinking about this fight and I for some reason am not as interested in it as I should be. At the moment I honestly care more/am intrigued more by bouts like Lyoto/Thiago and Alves vs Diego. Weird, no?
  15. Burberry Flannel.
  16. It's Rampage vs TBA as of right now. Dana said recently that he doesn't think Wanderlei will be fighting this year, I imaigne because they're saving him for the Superbowl show.
  17. *Pictures Randy lighting up Chuck with uppercuts* *Pictures Randy spanking Tito* *Pictures Randy pwning Sylvia* Yeah, I'd say if there's a guy out there who could dish out a humbling to Brock it'd be Randy.
  18. Holy shit the commercials on Spike for TUF are hilarios. Mir KO'ing Sims and tapping Brock = Tha Best. I had a discussion with one of my roommates tonight about who would be the better coach and even though he's wrong his argument that Nog will teach his fighters to get their asses kicked en route to a submission was funny.
  19. I won't know what to think if Brock wins. I guess it depends on how, actually. If he shows up with new skills and a smart gameplan I'll applaud him. If it's a LnP victory due to size and strength....not so much.
  20. I haven't checked it out yet but I always see the commercials when I'm watching The First 48 (which is a bomb-ass show, btw).
  21. Oh man, that's rough. I remember telling people how it'd be almost humanly impossible to OD on weed/hash. Shine on you crazy crackwhore.
  22. I think Manhoef/Zelg would be more fun but Jacare/Manhoef is a nice styles clash. Mousasi/Manhoef is fucking awesome, though. Manhoef likely has the power/KO advantage but Gegard is smooth on his feet and a good grappler. Fun final four.
  23. K1 veteran Mighty Mo Siliga vs Sergei Kharitonov and Mirko Cro-Cop vs Alistair Overeem have been made official for DREAM 6. Can't wait to see Mirko vs Euro Dance Party Remix.
  24. They'd pretty much have to do either Fedor/Brock or Nog/Brock. Or, barring a monumental upset a rematch between Brock and his old buddy Frank Mur.
