Well I retract my statement several days ago. I give up. It was a hell of a run.

When Bob and Harry said that it was a no-brainer I thought for sure it was going to be waived off because I usually go against everything they say. The Oilers were down 2 games to the Sharks but this is going to be a lot tougher. If they want to win game 3 they are going to have to stay out of the box. Jussi wasn't bad in game 2 but he could play a little better.

I still refuse to give up until Carolina has won 4 games.

Do you really think people in big markets like New York, LA, and Philly would make plans to sit around a tv and watch a team from Edmonton and a team from Carolina play in a sport that isn't taken seriously? It's the sad truth but that's the way it is. If it was the Kings and Rangers in the final ratings might be slightly different.

I'm so happy right now i'm almost crying. Never in a million years would I have expected to see the Oilers in the final. Even though the series went 5 games the Ducks have nothing to be ashamed of as they were in every game. I'm 50/50 on the Oilers getting a lot of rest though. The Devils and Ducks got a week off after sweeps and they came out rusty and never recovered. On the flip side this allows the Oilers to rid the flu once and for all. As far as my mvp so far i'd have to go with Pronger just slightly over Rolli. Prongs has managed to keep his cool for most of these playoffs and is staying out of the box as much as he can. Hopefully it's Buffalo they play so I can go see a game. Fuck driving 3 days to Edmonton.

Oilers win again. I am completely in heaven right now. Edmonton at times have been completely dominated in the 3rd period and have somehow pulled out a victory. Call me a homer all you want but i really think this team has what it takes right now to win the cup.
