  1. The gist of what I'm thinking is going to happen: HHH runs in on the Batista/Goldberg main event, (if the match is for the title). Austin announces, that at the Survivor Series, Goldberg v. HHH v. Batista in a triple threat match to make up for it. Heel mis-communication leads to Goldberg retaining. The RAW following the PPV, Batista, Orton, Flair and a new member of Evolution turns on HHH (seemingly because he'll take another 6 weeks off). This leads to a HHH face turn in January, and a possible HHH v. Evolution member at Mania.

    Rob Conway

Conway would make a good fit for the stable (tagging with Orton or Batista)...that is, when Flair becomes more of a manager than a wrestler.
  3. They were two seperate incidents. The serenade of "Oh Canada" came off the heels of the Screwjob- 99.9% sure it was the night after (11.10.1997).
  4. Three. Wrestlemania XIV.
  5. POSITIVES: Wide range of years used. Great soundtrack. NEGATIVES: Bad sequencing. Failure to use the soundtrack properly (none of the clips hit high notes along with the track). Bad sequencing. Horrible video quality. Bad sequencing. Weird choices in clips (barely any Goldberg, nWo, Booker or Steiner, but a myriad of Cruiserweights not named Rey). Bad sequencing.
  6. Watched The Crow for the very first time -jaw-dropping stuff for its time (1994?). It's a very powerful and chilling movie, based on the plot, then the ugly coincidences in the real life tragedy on the set. Brandon Lee is GREAT here. ****1/2, and my movie ratings are VERY stiff.

    WWE News

When was the last time Orton was granted time to develop his OWN character? Orton has no heat, simply because he hasn't been able to capitalize on his gimmick - he comes across as more of a Evolution lackey than an actual wrestler. John Cena gets weekly promos to set up any feuds the writers have for him - he's designed to draw heat, regardless of the outcome of his matches. Both Orton and Cena are still very green in the ring - but once again, Cena benefits from working with Angle, Benoit, Guerrero and Lesnar on the Smackdown brand. Orton? Uhh.....Maven?
  8. Arizona at Pittsburgh Atlanta at N.Y. Giants Chicago at Detroit Cleveland at Kansas City Houston at Cincinnati Indianapolis at Jacksonville Miami at Tennessee [LOCK] Seattle at Washington Tampa Bay at Carolina Minnesota at San Diego Buffalo at Dallas N.Y. 9. Can't do that. They'd have to re-produce the entire game to air it (including camera angles and commentary) to avoid breaching each network's contract with the NFL.
  10. I believe we're the only two, Choken.
  11. what was the date of this match? Not sure but around WM19 -> Backlash. February 22, 2003. That seems to be their only tag match on Velocity.
  12. Angle/Booker for the WCW title from SD! 07.26.2001 (on the Action! DVD). Not really "forgotten", but more "unheralded".
  13. Hmm...Flair...or Foley. No one else comes close to them... yet.
  14. Eh, hello, I think Brock has bigger fish to fry at the moment Was that my point? You said... and then I said... This feud won't "bomb", even though that term can't be applied to a mini-feud like this in the first place. Lesnar simply has bigger fish to fry with Benoit and Angle.
  15. They only noted that Luger was taken in, not knowing that he was taken in for drug possession (not because of an involvement with Hulette's death). Since it is Sting's last contracted appearance, I'm PRETTY SURE that any heel jobs will go through Styles. She dropped the charges, either because she was exaggeratig the claims, or that they reconciled (though they're legally seperated.)
  16. That was what I was referring to. Holly came back the night after the Survivor Series (or maybe a month before) and started a mini-program, but it never went anywhere ...because Angle was the world champion at this point. People dug the Holly/Angle feud, but Kurt had bigger fish to fry at this point (i.e. FIVE other wrestlers in the Armageddon HITC).
  17. These claims makes Luger a "complete and utter scumbag" in your eyes, yet a past drug abuser in Raven (a noted abuser while in THREE DIFFERENT promotions) gets a free pass because he'll job to a new star? It's implied that it was a domestic dispute that led to her death, which turned out to be horribly false. If Lockwood was a female and involved with Stevie, same accusations would've popped up.
  18. Raven isn't a complete and utter scumbag who -is/was implicated in the death of a known wrestling personality in the past years -refused to job to Sean O'Haire on the last WCW PPV out of spite -up until the incident where Elizabeth died, had been bragging that the WWE was gonna call him "any day", and furthermore, belongs to an "elite" group of gobshites who believe that their physical look, not their wrestling talent, or lack therof, will secure them a WWE Job But, hey, He'll job to Jarrett, let him in the door Fuck Jarrett, Fuck Luger I'm sure you had credibility, Dave. Just not sure when. -------- First off, the guy tries to gain credibility by using Luger's real name. LAWRENCE PFOHL's life is none of his business, unless he actually had a point to his article. Pfohl didn't kill Hulette, nor has the writer proved that Pfohl hasn't cleaned himself up since then. In addition, there's no evidence that Pfohl abused those drugs anyway - he was arrested because he was in possession of them. The cache was large enough for Pfohl to be a distributor, and not necessarily a user. And the quote to top it off... Protesting Luger working with TNA, will solve these deaths? What a jackass.
  19. Family Guy, Volume Two.
  20. Yes. It was Al Snow, on the same night he debuted Pierre. May 2nd, 1999 episode of HEAT.
  21. It's pure HATE that will drive Holly - fans will believe that he won't hold back on Lesnar, even if he gets eliminated early. It's one of the few angles that you can't fuck up - seemingly because it writes itself.
  22. Looky here...a writer who tries to use a professional wrestler's real name to instill credibility into his argument. Too bad the argument had no credibility to begin with, or maybe he would've had something here.
  23. There's an outside chance that all of the matches haven't been made public yet (considering they have 10 hours of confirmed footage on the set).
