  1. Horizons. EDIT: Damn those quick posters.
  2. Booker T for Judgment Day '03. Goldberg for Bad Blood.
  3. Show dates of other matches mentioned - Kane/Albert - 06/28/2001 Angle/Kane - 11/01/2001
  4. I'm referring to the Smackdown match from July (?) of 2001, where Angle stays on Kane's ankle the whole match, until Kane has no chance but to tap to the Ankle Lock (up until then, the first time that Kane had tapped out in a match).
  5. SK gave it ***1/2. It was actually two years ago on Smackdown, and was for the Intercontinental title (Albert's first major title victory). Correct. On a side note, Kane must've had his working boots on during the early part of 2001. In addition to the Albert and TBS matches, he had that magnificent ***1/2 match with Angle (which was actually not much of a carry job)
  6. I went in expecting WAY too much. It came off as a bit boring, but it certainly entertained me at sporadic points.
  7. Well, That Damn Good was a Sam Goody-only release; at most DVD outlets, it's not even recognized as a WWE product or sold as such. Most people refuse to purchase this product, JUST BECAUSE there are PPV matches that are already covered on other DVD's - heck, I know about 10 on this board alone. And to defend the DVD, THREE of the six matches aren't available on any current WWF/WWE DVD releases.
  8. This is what Rob said - So which of those four SD! matches are "three minute SD specials"? TWO of them, with one being his debut match. Shouldn't that be a meaningful match that should be included on a DVD? The latter two you mentioned are ***1/2+, and are not "three minute SD specials". UGGGH! You telling me people on this board wouldn't complain about "double-dipping"? It's also good business for WWF/WWE Home Video to leave the WWE PPV matches on their respective DVDs, and not spread them out to their profile sets. This way, you're enticing the consumers to pick up more...and more....and more...
  9. Granted, though I thought the interview post-match was the focus of the extra. Blowoff to the Savage feud. Blowoff to the Zeus feud until the December PPV. Being a PPV main event match, it's hard to find its glaring faults for being on the DVD. 50/50 here. The only match on this DVD, where Hogan plays the "Real American" schtick, with the American flag and the "Eye of the Tiger" theme song - definitely "Hulkamania" at its infant stages. 50/50 again. He teamed with ANDRE - this provided a small build to the Wrestlemania III match they also inserted into the DVD. Grouped with the accompanying video packages, I would prefer this extra over much of Hogan's early WWF work. Why, yes, MEANINGLESS. As in building to the famous Hogan/Savage storyline that culminated at a SNME three months later - one angle that particularly drew in a good chunk of the TSM posters to become wrestling fans in the first place (as evidenced by the Elizabeth thread) - a match that did a good job in making the Twin Towers a formidable team. Which was part of an entire interview with McMahon and Hogan on Tuesday Night Titans. Please tell me you felt the match was the focus of that extra. Yet, you'd PROBABLY bitch if they were used TWICE as an extra, right?
  10. As Barron said, Flair actually gave his opinions on all sixteen reigns - it's in the new WWE RAW magazine (with Austin on the cover). Flair tearing Jim Herd a new hole regarding his 7th reign, is worth the newstand price alone. According to the interview, the history went: REIGN 15: 5/15/2000 Ric Flair def. Jeff Jarrett on Monday Nitro (Biloxi, MS) 5/22/2000 forfeits title to Jeff Jarrett for medical reasons on Monday Nitro (Grand Rapids, MI) Length: 1 week. REIGN 16: 5/29/2000 Kevin Nash reliquishes title to Flair on Monday Nitro (SLC, UT) 5/29/2000 Ric Flair loses to Jeff Jarrett last that night on Nitro. Length: Approx. 2 hours.
  11. Being? Without knowing the matches off-hand, I don't remember a meaningless match on that DVD (with the exception of that handicap match). WWE Home Video have made it clear (through their releases) they do not want to go past two DVD's to sell a product. You're already jeopardizing the price, which would possibly end up selling for 39.99, just so you can fit in a few extra matches. If "half" means two (which is not half of the 10 matches on his DVD), then you'd be right. His matches with Chavo and Noble are the only matches that even fit into the mold you're trying to reach, with one being his DEBUT match. WWE Revisionist History ™ is something we've all come to loathe - but in terms of "extras", they're stuck to their end of the bargain and gave the DVD consumers what they were clamoring for
  12. Just like the other profile DVD's, right? Just like the HBK DVD, which had HITC, Mind Games, the Iron-Man match, the No-Holds-Barred match and the Ladder match....oh wait. Just like the Hogan DVD, which had the '90 Rumble, '88 Survivor Series, WM III, Shea Stadium, Wrestling Classic, The Big Event, 1st title victory and debut in the WWF....oh wait. Just like the Foley DVD, which had the Mind Games match, Over The Edge match, Halftime Heat and the infamous Kennel In The Cell....oh wait. Maybe like the Rey DVD, which had the Halloween Havoc ***** clinic, Rey's PPV debut, his Cruiserweight title victories and the AAA match....OH WAIT. If you're going to bitch, at least back your complaints up with EVIDENCE. There is NO EVIDENCE that the Home Video department has jipped us on the profile DVD's, so quit bitching and move to a thread that demands incessant whining or petty jabs - go join a clique in NHB or something.
  13. When your mouse is over the list of rooms available, right-click - it'll give you the option of "Refresh List" - soon opening Downhome's room. My problem with sharing right now, is that SoulSeek is being a bitch about finding the folders that *I* want to share.
  14. ::reminds self to turn off signatures until further notice::
  15. Jericho kept making small jabs at Goldy during this period. I answered your question. (not being a prick or anything) Jericho "getting lost" was simply a jab at Goldberg's entrance - it was planned in order for the fans to hate him even more.
  16. He was facing "Goldberg" that night - Jericho kept making small jabs at Goldy during this period.
  17. So, I take it that you want both Orton and Batista near the Main Event scene, right? If HHH has ANYTHING to do with it, considering what he's said in past interviews, both men will hold the World Title by this time next year. I'd much rather they take their work to the tag scene - back in February of this year, they worked well as a unit.
  18. He and Orton will surely dominate on the tag scene, revitalizing the division. Good to hear that Dave's injury didn't turn out to be career-ending.
  19. Here's the movie key: 1 - Stone Cold's Intro (Work in Progress) 2 - Goldberg Intro - Wrestlemania (Work in Progress) 3 - Cuz Stone Cold Says So! 4 - The Stunner 5 - Rey-Rey's Intro (Work in Progress) 6 - Hurricane's Intro (Work in Progress) 7 - Squirrelly Antics 8 - Ouch! 9 - The Rock's Intro (Work in Progress) 10 - Test's Intro (Work in Progress) 11 - Grappling all over 12 - The People's Elbow 13 -John Cena's Intro (Work in Progress) 14 - Undertaker's Intro (Work in Progress) 15 - Severe ass kicking 16 - The Last Ride 17 - Batista's Intro (Work in Progress) 18 - Kevin Nash's Intro (Work in Progress) 19 - Who's the better big man? 20 - Ladder action
  20. #2 is Goldberg's entrance at XIX (great graphics).
  21. What movie? (considering I have dial-up) #1 is Austin's entrance at XIX, just for other dial-up'ers refusing to wait for some of these movies to download.
  22. No Mercy 2002, against Jamie Noble. Show will join other credible heels in Cena and Hardy, on the sidelines for the PPV... While the focus of two matches are being put on TWO McMahons and Eric Bischoff.
  23. Refresh the room/user list, tpww.
  24. Proposed Wrestlemanias on DVD. High-quality wrestling on VHS. The quality of the VHS tapes we own are slowly degrading as we speak. I'm looking for methods of putting all of my tapes onto DVD, to "save" them from their impending death.
  25. Uhh....no. Wrestlemania 2000 had THREE matches that were ***3/4 or better. In terms of quality and effectiveness, 2000 stands behind: Wrestlemania III Wrestlemania V Wrestlemania VII Wrestlemania VIII Wrestlemania X Wrestlemania X-7 Wrestlemania XIX
