I was only 7 or 8 years old, but I remember Rick Steiner being a member of the Varsity Club (he wore the Michigan jacket). When was that? I don't remember Terry Gordy in any role, other than as a Freebird. This was also when I was very young, though.

The topic of the previous few posts were asking what HBK said in response to the Bret Hart comment, which I looked at as the "current" topic. My question about La Resistance was off the topic from the 5 or 6 posts that preceded it.

I thought he said something along the lines of "Don't you forget it." I'm probably wrong, though. Way off topic: When/Why did La resistance go from being French to being Canadian?

I have not read much of this thread, so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or how far off topic it is, but... why did they have Kane crush HBK's throat, putting him out of action for months, and then have him come back without seeking any kind of vengeance on Kane.

When are they gonna merge the brands? The way things are now is getting ridiculous.

If they would only give London a guy like Ralphus as "the Head of London Security," I'd be sold on any storyline they want to do with him.

I knew that there were a ton of problems, but when you list them like that, it looks 10x worse. I think that 4 or 5 tag teams per show is about right. I think another idea would be to bring back factions. That's what brought wrestling back in the late 90's.

The worst I ever heard was Big Show's "alley-oop." The move itself was worse than the name, though. I actually like the "Steiner Recliner." I think the "Lion Tamer" is a cheesy name for a move, but better than the "Walls of Jericho."
