It would be interesting to see somebody disagree on some things with Al rather than dangle off his nuts all the time. His scrotum must be in alot of pain. Beckett left a couple starts this season with blisters and one with an abdominal strain. In 2004 he did nothing but leave games due to blisters. Try looking things up before taking Al's word for the gospel.

I'd like to note that I was watching the Batman Begins DVD when this thread was made, and then I was sleeping while the thread continued.

TSM loves drama, its just a fact of this board. Seeing as how somebody that people can't go without talking about for more than a couple hours I thought I'd give you all the chance to ask me anything pertaining to past "drama" I've been a part of. He average 6ip per start in the 05 season, which was his best. He's got very good stuff but he's never proven he can be that Ace that can give you 200IP. I think he and Blalock are about equal in value.

Blalock for Beckett straight up should be fine. If I'm Texas then I don't want to get rid of Diamond, nor do I want Lowell's contract. Texiera just won a glove at first base but his natural position was third base. He could always go back to third and they can have Adrian Gonzales play first base.

I remember the commercials for the show when it first came out always harping about Larry David and from one of the other creators of Seinfeld. Explain that if there's no Larry David connection. Arrested Development has the same style of humor that Seinfeld did and the NBC audience always reacts well to shows with a more intelligent level of humor (Seinfeld and Frasier for example). Larry David will always have a connection with NBC via his work with Seinfeld. I didn't say he worked for them or anything, just that he has a connection to them.
