There is what...10 days left until the show? Only 3 matches are announced or even rumored. I know it was a ECW thing to not release a full card but still would like to have a closer understanding to know it won't all be WWE Vs ECW. Angle would be working the show but it'd still feel like a ECW/WWE match no matter who he works. He was set to work Benoit but I guess Angle is replacing Benoit's role in ECW. Who does Angle work? I don't think he'll work someone like Sandman because that'd be a total mess. Will they use Angle in a technical wrestling match as they were going to with Benoit? Angle/Storm? Angle/Punk? (If they want to debut a future star to push the whole "new generation of ecw" deal, it'd be a smart move to debut Punk right away)... I'd venture a guess they will do another 3 way involving the CW's , and Sandman will probably brawl with Credible or something.

If you got five guys who play the same style, less likely to produce drama. That's the purpose of any reality type show. The producers aren't that concerned with the quality they will produce musically but rather as a show.

You know, I wonder if WP and Marvin ever played sports. I have a theory working that people who don't perform on some level in their formulative years are tons more likely to be like WP and Marvin. I'm not saying football players won't have problems in social environments but the nature of sports, acting or some sort of academic based competiton propel you into social situations where you would almost always need to be productive in those skills to succeed.

You can't build a promotion around Sabu. You can't leave SD without a title. Rey will go over but Sabu will probably look strong here. Foley will take the pinfall for WWE against Funk and Dreamer. I just don't think WWE should go 2-1 in the triple main events. They also can't make it all ECW Vs WWE. They need to start announcing ECW matches.

But most people hit the nervous/shy part in their lives around 13-15 years old. They should never extend that into their mid and late 20's. I don't think I ever had that shy period, at least with girls. I was the loner type in team sports but that was mainly because I was in a certain zone for that and I never bothered to be social during it.

This went from a pathetic display from Marvin and WP...to a display of desperation and crammed with worthless self justification. You don't need a book to explain or justify your inability to function properly. Life isn't hard but WP and Marvin are doing their best to make it more difficult then it should be. Actually, it's only Marvin. WP is 100% gimmick. I can't tell which is more pathetic. edit: double post for emphasis.

See, getting inspiration from Mick Foley isn't the best place to start. He was also only about 19 at the time. A little late in the game...you missed the entire game.

We did talk for hours though. So?

Jesus, WP. MSN/AIM doesn't mean anything. Oh, Marvin you are actually ahead of WP in that regard. WP's only exposure is towards people who strip for people equally miserable as he is.

I'm sure the only way Dave could have found that out would be if Eddie or one of his close friends had told him. Wrestlers are very open with Meltzer. Vince, from time to time speaks to Meltzer for all sorts of reasons. Correct me if I'm wrong on this because I'm just going by memory by something I read. It's true that Meltzer and Vince talk together some. In fact, around the time right before the invasion started Vince knew the product was suffering some and called up DA Meltz to ask him what he should do. Meltzer ended it by saying that "WCW had to win". Vince hung up after that and there wasn't a lot of talk since than between the two if any at all. Again, anyone can correct me if I'm wrong. Meltzer's side has it that he gave McMahon a "golden" idea and McMahon did the complete opposite but Meltzer won't give away what that idea was in hopes Vince uses it. Meltzer has a long list of things he "won't reveal until it's appros". Most famously is the "Who came up with the finish for Montreal?", something Meltzer insists will be a secret until that person dies.

5/30: Which Holiday Is King For Overindulging?

Probably because in IRL, it's a one race show. The INDY 500 is all the mainstream cares about. If IRL made the other races mean something, she'd get more hype NASCAR has a series of "big" races from Daytona 500, Coca-Cola 600, Brickyard 400, EA Sports 499, Rock n Roll 400(the last race of the "regular" season). Which is another example of why IRL needs Danica so bad, without her...IRL has nothing to match with NASCAR. Patrick is evenly known as Stewart and equally popular as Earnhardt Jr. Which says alot. They need Patrick to start winning because eventually the interest sizzles out once the public accepts that she's nothing but a top ten finishing machine. Also, in most IRL races...they only run 21-23 cars. The Indy 500 is the exception. So only managing 10 trips into the top 10 in her 1 1/4 years in the game isn't that strong. -
I watched season 1 on dvd and rewatched various episodes of season 2 on my DVR over the holiday break to set myself up for tonight's return.

At least Marvin got the chick's #. WP wouldn't get that far.
-
Bryan Danielson is the most charismatic and entertaining world champion since The Rock. He is also the best new wrestler of this decade.
-
No, seriously. If you ever want to get this girl or at least figure out what the hell it was all about, you give me or someone else that # for you and we'll close the deal for you, since you obviously can't.

Did you really need to include Eddie on the "not-active" roster? Smackdown could use a guy like Carlito, as Carlito is just stuck in nowheresville on Raw. An extended series with Gibson and Kash against London and Kendrick should cover the tag scene for a bit of time. Logic would be to push talents like Scott and Hardy but that won't happen. Burchill returns sans the pirate gimmick where he says "Okay, apparently they had the wrong Burchill in the documents, so I'm not a descendent of any pirates". Or just hope someone catches fire again for WWE to push back down.

Top 10 finishes at Indy mean nothing really. Her highest career finish is 4th alongside ten top 10's and finished 12th in points last year (and isn' moving from that spot yet this season either) She won the ROTY but it wasn't a strong field anyways. That is hardly worth the hype, and I hate to say it but at this point she's Anna K in a firesuit. I think she has the ability, it's just a matter of too much hype too soon for her. Petty's last year of racing(1992) was nothing short of promotional genius. -
You know, I always figured swimming and riding a bike was like driving a car. A natural thing that people shouldn't have problems figuring out.

He has a steady paycheck where he is probably assured as a lifer by now and he'll probably move into the agent role or somewhere in the front office as he has a good mind and he is one of the more intelligent performers on the roster. He'd also have a good chance of getting a job as manager or some sort of on-air character after he retires. It's better to be a jobber with a future in the company then you'd think.

Broken neck at a FIP show.

Why is Petty so concerned about IRL? IRL will never measure up to the status of NASCAR, so he can't be worried Danica will propel IRL to new heights. That being said, Petty is an old fossil who has a meaningless opinion. You might recall that he criticized Dale Earnhardt and tried to undermine his significance after his death. Petty has no real control of any thing in NASCAR. He is the owner in name for Petty Enterprise but Kyle runs the team. I can't fathom how Richard can be so pig-headed, while Kyle is among the TOP PR machines for NASCAR. Kyle has done some incredible things that deserve more attention, how many athletles put up their own money to open up camps specifically for terminally ill kids? He didn't just put money up but he actually runs, controls and manages the camp and it's about $100,000 to cover each kid per year and the best part? It's free for the kids. Petty and the camp covers the expenses. You'll never see Albert Pujols, Peyton Manning or LeBron James doing anything like that. Anyways, I can't figure out why Richard gets a forum to speak. He usually always has something stupid to say. He's good for name value to sponsers but never stick a microphone in his face. He's right though, Danica hasn't proven a damn thing yet. -
One of the reasons they signed Terkey besides his size was his similarity to Brody, which explains the hair.

Ironically enough, one of the last great WCW ppv's was held in Tacoma.
