  1. I will always be a Winter guy. That is the best time of the year. Hands down.
  2. -I was supposed to go to this show but I had a funeral that I had to attend that I wasn't aware of until this morning. Here are the results... Pre-Show Matches 1) Shane Hagadorn defeats Apocolypse, Bobby Dempsey, and Mitch Franklin in a FOUR CORNER SURVIVAL. Shane Hagadorn gets the win clean over Mitch Franklin. 2) Chad Collyer easily defeats Rhett Titus with the Texas Cloverleaf. Chad earns a potential spot in the ROH Top 5 Rankings with his 2-0 weekend. Todd Sinclair had the assignment. Weekend Of Champions: Night 2 Crowd Estimate: 450-500 BJ Whitmer, Adam Pearce, and Commissioner James E. Cornette are in the ring. Jim Cornette is leaving ROH to recover from upcoming knee surgery. Adam Pearce is the acting ROH Commissioner. 1) Conrad Kennedy III & "Classic" Colt Cabana defeat Irish Airborne of Jake & David Crist. Cabana over Jake Crist. 2) Delirious defeats Chris Sabin via submission. "Really good bout," says JSWO. 3) Six Man Mayhem- Jimmy Jacobs pins Trik Davis after the Contra Code. Match also featured Jay Fury, Flash Flanagan, Spud, and Jimmy Yang. Claudio Castagnoli is in the ring. Samoa Joe is now in the ring to confront the most money making man. 4) Samoa Joe vs Claudio Castagnoli. From what I am getting, this match never had a finish. Nate Webb and The Necro Butcher ran out and began a huge brawl. Samoa Joe sold an injured knee. 5) BJ Whitmer defeats Super Dragon with the Exploder. Finish saw BJ Whitmer hit an Exploder on Super Dragon from the top robe through a table on the outside of the ring. "Incredibly sick finish" from JSWO. 6) "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels defeats Matt Sydal. 7) Title vs Title: ROH Pure Champion Nigel McGuinness defeats ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson via Count Out. Both champions retain their respective titles. NO NEW WORLD CHAMPION. JSWO claims, "before the ROH boards start bitching, the finish was amazing. MOTYC big time." 8) ROH Tag Team Championships: Austin Aries & Roderick Strong defeat Alex Shelley & Jimmy Rave. Generation Next retains the titles. No new champions tonight.
  3. Brandon Phillips? I mean, the idea is supposedly THIS season's best players. Phillips, has had a pretty good season thus far. Im not saying he should start or even make the team but he's another NL 2B, having a good season thus far.
  4. So you perfer to be a homer despite them not being worthy of the spot. Explain the Griffey selection, as he played 2 weeks this season and will probably be injured by ASG anyways (same with Nomar) Please, you are blatant homer and pick the "names". The problem is, a large % of the voters follow the same formula as you.

Except there is absolutely nothing generic about Bryan Danielson. Roderick Strong maybe. Danielson is probably the best heel in the business today and he can work countless styles.
  6. Make sure his parents aren't living in someone else's house without paying rent first.
  7. Dama, gets his OU guy in the first round.
  8. I am really curious to see what Marvin Lewis does. He's pretty good at this draft game and he has said he has alot of people he is looking at.
  9. I think LenDale White, could end up getting snatched up by Indy instead.
  10. That guy looks like someone who will be a headache in 2 years for SD.
  11. There is obviously a fine line and this was a subject that got alot of debate, when Samoa Joe chased down a fan and got involved in a confrontation with him (which alot of reports wern found to be overblown). I'm all for wrestlers/fans jawing, because that is a part of the whole thing. I think fans get caught up into the act and convince themselves, they are a part of the show.
  12. Wow. He shot up. I thought Carpenter was looking at a late selection, not this early but im not surprised either.
  13. That's why I gave them a 4 year window. It's not like they're going to be near the cap after signing Leinart. He doesn't have to be good. All he has to do is be able to throw the ball near Fitzgerald and Boldin, which with his accuracy, won't be a problem. Don't flamebait me or others that like USC again, as that's been your agenda throughout this whole thread. I think any QB would have been good for the Cardinals. I'm not flamebaiting anybody. I'm just laughing my ass off that Mr. Hollywood is in the desert now. It'd be funnier if he landed in Buffalo or Cleveland, rather then Arizona. 'Zona is a short flight away from his capital location and has a more active scene then Cleveland and Buffalo.
  14. Cleveland took 30 minutes to make that pick.

Danielson and Colt, shouldn't work TNA. TNA can't handle the 42 guys they try to cram onto a 42 minute show already. Colt's strength(his personality) and Danielson's strengths (his work and being the best dick heel in the business) wouldn't get used. Jarrett won't allow Danielson to do what he does best. Colt, won't get time to do his stuff. Romero and Sydal, tour Japan.
  16. "Let's take a look at Ngata here" Salisbury: LOOK AT MATT! What a play! "Yes, but watch Ngata" Irvin: BUSH! He's running man! POINTS SCORE POINTS! OFFENSE! YAY! BUSH
  17. "only", I still find it nuts you have to trade another pick just to move one spot up.
  18. Eric Crouch won a Heisman. It doesn't mean anything on the pro level.
  19. ESPN is too fascinated with Jay Cutler's school. "OMG! U went to Vanderbilt?!?, what was that like" "um it was a good school..." "but like it's Vanderbilt!" "Can we talk about the Broncos?" "VANDERBILT!"
  20. looks like it was just a simple swap.
  21. Hmm, that's a strange pick. I thought Denver needed help at WR more then QB.
  22. I think Leinart will strongly benefit from following Carson's footsteps and sticking to the sidelines and learning from a veteran who can teach him with great weapons to use. Carson, had CJ, Housh and Rudi. Leinart, will have Edge, Bolden and Fitzgerald. Leinart landed in a cushy spot.
  23. If he cared about the $, he would have skipped his senior season. This is perfect. He gets a team with throwing options, a good person to learn from, the hot college chicks that he loves and he's a short flight away from Hollywood. It's probably the IDEAL place to go.
  24. Okay, I think 'Zona takes Leinert and Baltimore takes Cutler.
