Orton, was a pretty decent heel tonight. Angle, was a complete bad-ass, which the crowd was very responsive too, so they put over the guy the fans were booing and the guy who has looked like a joke the last 6 weeks.

That was probably the MOTN, if not second match of the night after the Hardcore match. It, in no way sucked. Was it the only match that had a noticable botch? Rey botched his around the post 619 in the World Title match. Against Kurt or Randy? Kurt. Completely slipped off the ring post and fell down.

You know, the hardcore match was actually pretty smart. It only had one big spot but wasn't neccesarily a generic hardcore rules match. The wrap-around barb-wire on Foley was great, Edge's reaction at the end was gold. The barbed wire socko on Lita? Tremendous. Foley took some good bumps but didn't do anything dramatically contrived or anything. Was I the only one expecting Foley to be a human fire-ball after he had the fluid poured on him? The spot with Lita on Foley's back during the catcus clothesline was great. Also, "wrestlemania virginity". Great.

I wonder if in 10 years we'll look at CM Punk being on the car for Cena's entrance like we do for DDP driving Rhythm and Blues to the ring @ WM6.

This place is never happy. There is always something to bitch about here. Yes, and I understand that is part of what makes an internet message board tick, but at the same time, the hypocrisy here is pretty thick, at least as far as HHH-Cena is concerned. FWIW, I thought the HHH pic of him dressed in costume looked cool. Wrestlemania is the place for overdone outfits and such. At least it used to be. There's a difference between special outfits and fucking stupid outfits. Its embarassing as a fan to see these people dressed up like cartoon characters Rey, was the real cartoon.

The show, in hindsight should have ended with the triple-threat. It also should have gotten 5-8 more minutes, just like Benoit/JBL. Each match were on their way to being pretty damn good and just abruptly ended.
