  1. Just under nine minutes. Really good stuff.
  2. Whu???? Grisham asked Shawn about Bret being in the HOF. Shawn said it was about time and he was happy for Bret and his family, he deserved it, and he's glad that Bret "Is Okay and has peace in his heart". Of course, he didn't apologize for Montreal, so all that is meaningless. Take this to the appropiate thread, we dont need more Bret/HBK talk.
  3. She escorted the blackjacks and kissed them both.
  4. That's sort of a spoiler there. However... Hmm...there's 3 good matches...one REALLY good (woman's match)...a couple funny backstage skits and a strange but hot crowd.
  5. TBS-Kane Vs Carlito & Masters: *1/4 MITBII:*** JBL/Benoit: **1/2 Edge Vs Foley: ***1/2 Trish Vs Mickie: **** Boogeyman Vs The T's: DUD Undertaker Vs Henry: *1/2 HBK Vs McMahon: ***1/4 Triple Threat: **3/4 Playboy match: dud Cena Vs Triple H: **
  6. This is perhaps the most incredible crowd ever.
  7. Is anyone really that surprised?
  8. So this is where they come full circle...Vince gets what he wanted but had to nearly die for it. Shawn transgressed back to his "old ways".
  9. Match quality rankings 1. Woman's title 2. Foley/Edge 3. MITB 4. JBL/Benoit 5. Tag Title match 6. Casket Match 7. Boogeyman/T's
  10. Everyone is frantically trying to find images of the Pussy rubbing spot.
  11. MITB was generic ladder match, The woman's match was much better.
  12. Yeah, I can't believe how good that match was.
  13. This match, might be the best woman's match ever.
  14. The hallway of gimmicks, was worth $50.
  15. Pretty solid match but not as great as I was hoping for.
  16. bleh squash match to start the show.
  17. Show starts in 50 minutes. Here's how they can make the $50 worthwhile...at least two passable decent matches and one straight-out good match. The crowd booing Cena out of Chicago, something makes me go "I wasn't expecting that" (in a good way).
  18. I buy that he designs his shitty merch...
  19. I wonder if Johnny Ace was doing more of his usual recruiting like he did at Eddie's funeral.
  20. You've criticised the card and the booking for the past month, yet you're still purchasing the show, even though you just don't care about it, and you call people who do "deluded"? That's stupid. I clearly included myself in that "deluded" section. I've indicated my interest in this show to rest in the booking movements to watch the train wreck continue. I order all WM's, my lack of interest in the card isn't going to keep from watching. Not every Superbowl or final four is that interesting or special but I still watch. They are still notable spectacles for me regardless of the quality and interest. The card is a mess, and that can't be argued and we're all deluded for wanting to see it. All for different reasoning.
  21. We thought that about Hogan/Rock (although that isn't the same level) and they learned their lesson there as well. Besides, unless they get something really hot involving the titles, nothing could close a show like Hogan/Austin. The only thing that would shuffle it from the ME, was if they had an non-finish and that would be insanely stupid anyways.
  22. What was really weird was that WWE put the Women's title match right after Rock/Hogan (I think) and before Jericho/HHH. They wanted the woman's match to calm the crowd down and give them a breather. It was the essential "piss-break" match. The old manias used to do this alot (putting filler matches in between hot matches and the main event)
  23. Not that I am expecting anything but has anything been said about Bret leaving Chicago yet?

    Before Mania...

I thought about writing out some long rant against WM22 tonight, describing my apathy towards it... Then I realized... I spent the last few weeks already displaying that sentiment. What else could I really add? I don't think it'll be a horrible show, I really don't. It won't be special though. It could have **** matches out the ass and It still wouldn't feel special because I haven't been given a reason to give a shit other then "It's fucking Mania". I'll give quick predictions on each match Triple H Vs John Cena Winner: Triple H Time: 24:45 Rating:**1/4 Rey Mysterio Vs Kurt Angle Vs Randy Orton Winner: Rey Mysterio Time: 17:30 Rating:***1/2 Hard-Core Match: Edge Vs Mick Foley Winner: Edge Time: 13:00 Rating:**3/4 Vince McMahon Vs HBK Winner: HBK Time: 20:30 Rating:*** Money in the Bank Winner: Flair Time: 18:00 Rating:***3/4 Trish Stratus Vs Mickie James Winner: Mickie James Time: 8:20 Rating:**1/4 Chris Benoit Vs JBL Winner: JBL Time: 13:50 Rating: ***3/4 TBS/Kane Vs Carlito/Masters Winner: Carlito and Masters (DQ) Time: 5:30 Rating: *1/4 Torrie Vs Candice Winner: Candice Time: Too long Rating:DUD Boogeyman Vs The T's Winner: Boogeyman Time: 3:45 Rating:*1/4 Undertaker Vs Mark Henry Winner: Undertaker Time: 10:25 Rating:*3/4 They probably throw Mexi-Cools Vs MnM on the pre-show. I'll have complete response to the show, probably tommorow morning.
  25. The real issue is this, should Austin/Hogan main event? It'll draw the buy-rate and the interests, no question. Should it be given main event placement (the traditional form of main event being final match of the night). It's obviously the headlining match, but should they put this match over the respective title matches? (whatever they may be). We all remember what happened with Hogan/Rock at WMX8 and how the heat crushed the interest in an already dead match between Jericho and Triple H. Austin/Hogan, the heat would be nuclear. Nothing can really follow that. They could place it in the mid-card, and slap two piss-break matches after it to calm the crowd down enough for them to get back for the main event. Hogan's payment remains the same, regardless of match placement. The question is...Would those two ego's take a mid-card spot? BTW, you are insane if you don't believe Hogan/Austin would draw.
