I forgot about Lucky, that was probably the biggest disapointment of all the shows...well, the only disapointment. Lucky didnt have the ratings and I didn't think it reached the quality of the other shows.

FX, has a reputation of quality dramas (The Shield, Rescue Me, Over There, Nip/Tuck) and it adds a new show to it's roster, THEIF. It debuts tommorow night at the usual Tuesday 10pm (et) timeslot that all it's dramas air on. There should be no doubt that FX has another quality show especially with a quality actor like Andre Braugher in the lead role. Hopefully, this show can gain a following similar to FX's dramatic trio of Shield, Nip/Tuck and Rescue Me. Over There, wasn't a outstanding success however.

It'd be like Mike Sanders on Thunder, way back in the day but more enjoyable. The punchline should be Matt waking up to see Lita, standing by him. Matt looks up and smiles and goes "Lita? Is that you? Oh, I knew you'd come back for me. I love you..." Lita, bends down and gives Matt a little kiss on the cheek. Matt, has a huge smile on his face and starts to get up and just as he does, Lita shoves Matt into a pissed off Mick Foley who whacks him with a chair. Lita takes off running again and shouts "THANKS MATT!"... u just gave me horrid flashbacks to the lita-dean malenko "romance" How does that fantasy scenario, relate to the awesome Melenko/Lita storyline?

Hogan and Austin, don't have that bitter history like Shawn and Bret do. Hogan, just played the typical politics. Shawn, was a self-centered, arrogant, jerk who made it his personal hobby to attack Bret and Hogan never directly lied to Austin's face as Shawn did.

It'd make sense for Animal to do this, because a) He already hates Hardy b) fits his character c) hometown and d) His brother. Carlito, would be hilarious. He could be pissed at Masters because they lost the title match or excited because they won the title and just to be Carlito he angers/excites Master so much that Hardy gets in the cross-fire and Masters takes out Hardy. Carlito, steps in and claims since he proposed the match, he was technically allowed to replace an injured performer. Carlito, can do bumps and comedy spots and Masters, the idiot he is can cost Carlito the match.

Exactly. Its a good Summerslam card. The issue with this card is that, they could have done much better with it. They rushed most of this, hardly any of the matches feel significant. They could have really scored a good show in addition to a great lineup of wrestling, but it seems they missed it again. If they tweaked this current card just a little bit, add more sizzle to most of it...then you'd have a good mania card, instead of a passable Summer Slam card.

I still have this scary feeling that Flair wins the MITB early in the show and goes freakin nuts as he is soaked in blood and then at the end of the night, Triple H wins and Flair pulls a Hogan on him and goes over Triple H to win the title. It won't happen but it's a freaky possibility and I wouldn't put it past them because HHH still buries Cena, puts over his idol with a fluke lost and gets a quickie reign added to his total. It'd be a better moment then a forced cliche ending with Rey, Benoit, Dean and Eddy's family in the ring celebrating Rey's title win.

Matt, probably takes the big bump of the night. As Benjamin, RVD and Lashley are too important. Flair is too old to take more then just one big bump and Finlay shouldn't be doing anything but ass-kicking.

Pretty much. The SD guys aren't ME level and at least RVD/Flair are over enough to justify getting a title shot.

What a surprise The opening game for the NFL will be Pittsburgh(home) against Miami, on Thursday night airing on NBC Manning Bowl I will occur on NBC's first Sunday Night Game (in NY). Minnesota/Washington and San Diego/Oakland are the doubleheader opener for MNF (ESPN) They have added a third game to the Thanksgiving tradition... Dallas will host Tampa, Miami plays in Detroit and The Broncos/Chiefs (NFL Network), It's not that unusual for KC to host a Thanksgiving game, as they used to during the AFL days. It's also the first live game on NFLN.
