I remember Lions' fans were dying to get Huff back in 2006. One of the rare times where things worked out fairly well for the Lions. They drafted Ernie Sims a couple spots after Huff and got their safety (Daniel Bullocks) a round later.

Question: Is Mario Lopez really that relevant to warrant doing an E! True Hollywood Story on him? I know he's done a ton of stuff on TV but still...

Anyone check out The Girls of Hedsor Hall? Seems like it could be a better version of Charm School. One chick after receiving her uniform: "No guy's gonna want to fuck me in that." Classy. Oh yeah, and that Fantasy Factory is fucking amazing.

Well, that would explain T-Mac's blown dunk the other night. Sad to see, really.

Actually, the proposed rule would penalize celebrating before the TD was scored (ex: doing the Deion high-step at the 10-yard line). Still would be pretty dumb though IMO.

Apparently, it might not last much longer. Link

Jesus Christ Detroit...just blow the team up already.
-
Some people have mentioned Detroit making a play for Amare. They could try it in a last ditch effort to get back to the top of the East, but I just don't think it would work out. Would be interesting if it did happen though.

Mo Williams is gonna get his All-Star game nod after all, as he's filling in for an injured Chris Bosh.

So after ESPN already had Nelly, Lil' Wayne, and Bow Wow among others on 1st & 10, now they've got Wayne on Around the Horn (not to mention he already blogs for ESPN). Yeah...

Some comments from a Chris Brown video... And my personal favorite:

A-Rod admitted to using PEDs from '01-'03 during an "exclusive interview" with Peter Gammons. It'll air on the 6 P.M. Sportscenter. EDIT: Should be in the other thread.

Am I the only that feels underwhelmed by Eminem's "Crack a Bottle" single?
-
Was that today? Yeah, on CBS.

Not it would matter to me, but how come there isn't a Grammys thread?
-
Well, we did get to see a fumblerooski in this game.

Most of it was probably me getting older. Specifically though, it was SNICK House that killed it for me.

MFer fact: In high school, I competed in a track & field invitational named after Runyan. In other news, it looks like the Lions are set to take their first step in cleaning house. Leigh Bodden, Dan Campbell, Edwin Mulitalo, and Mike Furrey are all expected to be cut on Monday. In the case of Bodden, he was probably the Lions' best cover corner despite having a down year, but he's due way too much money ($8.6 mil) to justify keeping him. Maybe they would keep Bodden if the Lions were simply mediocre, but 0-16 plus the fact that he (as well as Furrey) was pretty outspoken after the season sealed the deal for him.

Well, Michigan tried like hell, but they couldn't pull the big upset at UConn. Seems like they can get up for the big boys (beating UCLA, splitting with Duke, playing UConn tough), but it just doesn't translate during Big Ten play. Michigan's still got a shot at the Tournament though, they just need to handle their business at home and try to get a road win or two.

Someone estimated the cost of raising 14 kids at $2.5-mil...that's a whole lot of donations and TV appearances right there.
-
So...how about those other 103 names?

Apparently Backstreet Boy Nick Carter had a 10-year drug and alcohol battle and almost killed himself. What a badass.

I definitely agree that Montana isn't the greatest player of all-time like so many say. I don't even think he's the undisputed #1 QB (although I personally have him #1). But not even top 5? That seems kinda harsh for a guy that's accomplished as much as he has. I know he doesn't have the Marino-like video game numbers, but it's not like he's Troy Aikman either. Over 40,000 passing yards (10th all-time) 63.2 comp pct. (9th...him and Steve Young are the only non-active players in the top 15). 93.2 QB rating (7th...him and Young are the only non-active players in the top 10) 273 pass TD's (9th) Six 3,500-yard seasons (two of them with over 3,900) That doesn't even take into account his MVP's, winning percentage, rings, or the fact that he has a 127.8 QB rating (including 0 INT's) in 4 Super Bowls (2 of them before Rice arrived in San Fran).

Wouldn't losing the battle royale have ended his undefeated streak, or do those matches not count?
-
So you're saying you wouldn't have Montana in your top 4 living QB's? I know you probably hate the guy but...c'mon man. Let me guess, he's overrated because of Jerry Rice and the West Coast Offense, right?
