  1. They need to either bring back Dark Shadows, or put it on Chiller. I stopped watching once they took off that show, and the original Ripley's. I watch from time to time to watch the Twilight Zone marathons. MST3K was great as well.
  2. I'm actually surprised at how over Suicide is, and that the fans were not shitting on it. I like the look of the character and he's got a good finisher, and with Daniels in the suit, until Kaz comes back, he'll be a good X-Division champion. On a side note, dos anyone have a pic of the "new" Samoa Joe?
  3. From what I was reading among the horror community, it's getting a very good response. Many people I know have said they went in not wanting to like it, and walked out enjoying it a lot. I'm hoping to see it next weekend.
  4. I finished reading the book early last weeks and The book is amazing, and the author did an amazing job with the book. The book goes more in depth with many of the side characters. I'm really afraid for the American version, as I can't see them "getting away" with enough to make it interesting. I would say this was the best vampire film since THE LOST BOYS, and this was everything that TWILIGHT wanted to be, but just couldn't. The kids that played Eli and Oskar were amazing, especially Eli.
  5. TNA hasn't had the titles change hands on DQ rule since splitting from NWA.

Madison BONUS (1pt): Who scores the pin? Governor 2. Samoa Joe vs. Scott Steiner 3. Booker T (TNA Legends Champion) vs. AJ Styles BONUS (1pt): Will the title be on the line? Yes 4. TNA X Division Title Ultimate X Match: Suicide vs. Consequences Creed vs. Jay Lethal vs. Alex Shelley© vs. Chris Sabin 7. TNA World Tag Team Title: Beer Money Inc. vs. Team 3D BONUS (1pt): Who gets pinned? Brother Ray BONUS (1pt): Who scores the pin? Robert Roode 8. TNA World Title with special referee Jeff Jarrett and special enforcer Mick Foley: Kurt Angle vs. Sting
  7. As awful as the sing is, that part makes me believe that the album is going to be even shittier than it would be otherwise.
  8. When did this happen?
  9. I was watching this at work yesterday, what a great movie. Last year was a great year for comedies, and this one was certainly at the front of the pack.
  10. I'm guessing that TNA's steroid policy is very loose if they're bringing him in.
  11. People laughed during the rape? I mean, I can see someone laughing at blue wang or some of the cheesier lines, but Comedian beating the tar out of Silk Spectre was not funny at all. Yikes. When Comedian first hit Spectre, there was a few laughs, then some people groaned, and then there were laughs again.
  12. One thing that bothered me happened in the audience, during the attempted rape scene, there were a lot of people laughing. Some people also laughed at parts that were meant to be serious, as some other have said on here as well.
  13. I agree with a good portion of what you said here. I just got back fro the movie, and I enjoyed it a lot. Like others have said, it wasn't perfect, but it was also a good way to kill 3 hours. I'm watching the Complete Motion Comic right now, and this is pretty cool. Another thing that I liked about the movie was the voice-overs of Rorschach writing his journal. I was happy they kept that. I would say that as far as comic movies goes, this was up there with THE CROW as far as being true to the source material. I also liked the ending of the movie a lot more than the one in the book.
  14. You can always go to the house show and if you run into Dixie, who is usually walking around the crowd, tell her how rediculous this shit has gotten.
  15. On paper this does in fact look good. I'm happy the plan is for Sting to have the title going in, instead of Angle vs Jarrett being for the strap. I'm also interested to see what the X-Division Escape match is going to be like this year.
  16. My god, that looks like such a cluterfuck of a cast, but in such a great way!
  17. Well, logic says how in the hell could Jarrett help Angle after Angle tried to break his leg, threatened his kids, and tried to take over his company. But this is TNA, after all. No, this is wrestling, after all. It doesn't just happen in TNA. That being said, yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Jarrett, Sting or even Foley turn in this match.
  18. IMAGINE THAT doesn't seem like the type of movie that I'd be interested in seeing, but it looks like it might be a good family/children's film.
  19. I don't think they are killing off the X-Division, just cleaning it up a bit. Especially with guys like Shelley, Creed, Lethal, Sabin, Doug Williams and Homicide (who I think it the type of guy that can save the division). On another note, I like the fact that Hernandez still gets a world title shot, and the fact that TNA explained it makes it work.
  20. Yeah, I'm sold on it. This looks like it could be great.
  21. It seems that TNA is trying to purge the X-Division. Petey, Rave (also a tag guy, but could compete in X-Division matches), and now Sonjay. Lance Hoyt, I know is a tag guy, but so far 3 of the 4 have been X-Division guys. Hopefully they will bring in Doug Williams now to fill a role in the X-Division.
  22. From the stories I have heard, Aronofsky wrote the movie for Rourke, but he turned it down the first time. Cage got the part, but dropped out after being backstage at an ROH event. Aronofsky sent the script to Rourke again, even after hearing that he could not get financial backing for Rourke. Rourke re-read the script after Aronofsky told him he couldn't pay him, but could get him an Oscar. I read these from various media news sites over the production time. Rourke also mentioned on Leno, I believe, about not getting paid but getting the Oscar nod. Aronofsky didn't write the movie. My bad, when Aronofsky read the script, he had Rourke first in mind, that's what it was.
  23. I don't know if this was posted anywhere, but goodbye Scotty Goldman: I found this on lordsofpain.net
  24. That is one of my favorite scenes in the book, and it looked pretty good.
  25. Three different versions of WATCHMEN
