I'm not going to put retarded down. It's fine the way it is. Damn you're really pissed about it being there.

Half of the posts in Site Feedback get off topic and turn into a bitch fest. It's just a test. The Graphics folder is just sitting there, so I changed it. If it doesn't work out, then I'll switch it back. And I brought up everything you said in the Mod folder and no one has really replied to it. They think the board is fine the way it is. To be honest, there is only so much we can change. The board is honestly doing fine at the moment. There won't be anymore Mods, no more changes to the layout, the mainsite is going to stay, and the mods are going to be less trigger happy when it comes to warnings.
-
What do you think BR is? They are also dual layered. When it comes down to it, both are going to cost tons of money.
-
It's for what you used to do all the time.

HD-DVD has 50GB. http://blogs.pcworld.com/staffblog/archives/003423.html
-
They are now merged.
-
Is it really? Can I see some numbers/link?
-
Sarcasm?
-
Why is there a need for the Graphics folder? It is barely used and if it is, it's just CS little cousin. I'm going to change it to Side Feedback NHB. That way you guys can create the threads that I always close because they get off topic. You have a problem about something on the board, go in there and bitch your brains out. It will be NSFW.
-
Yeah... So you don't buy into the HD hype? Or HD-DVD/BR hype?
-
I could see the Wii breaking PS2's record in a few years.
-
I haven't said a damn thing about 1080p. My TV is 1080i native with no 1080p capabilities.
-
Sony is already losing money on them now, so they won't be lowering the price anytime soon.

The add-on is great. I had the Toshiba A1 but sold it once the add-on came out. I can't upconvert DVDs on the add-on, but I have an upconverting DVD player so I don't care. You can't get TrueHD on the add-on, but I don't have a receiver that can support TrueHD, so I am not losing anything there. The add-on is "rockin."
-
Unless I am reading this wrong, you can't use DVI with the 360. You can use VGA, but not DVI.
-
He didn't tell me anything since I didn't do anything. And if I wanted you gone, by "hacking" your account, I would have done something much worse than what was posted. And I am not going to ban you unless you break the rules. Simple as that.

This Film Is Not Yet Rated is about the MPAA and why/how/who rates these movies. It's a great documentary and looks into a lot of stuff in the movie industry. It comes out on DVD on Jan 23rd, but did anyone actually see it in the theaters? (I downloaded it) I doubt it since it was only released in 18 theaters. But when it does come out on DVD, everyone should check it out.
-
Well, I own both. And I like HD-DVD better. It has better picture quality, special features, the player is cheaper, the movies are cheaper and it has TrueHD (which BR doesn't). Blu-Ray has more titles out right now and more studio support. The cheapest BR player is $799, well $599 if you count the PS3. The cheapest HD-DVD player is $599, $199 if you have a 360 and want the add-on. Plus PORN is on to HD-DVD.

Just use a twist-tie or a paper clip. And if you don't have a receiver, HDMI has better sound than analog. Some people say there isn't a difference between HDMI and component, but I can see a difference.
-
No. Ahh yeah. "To change (something) into another form, substance, state, or product; transform: convert water into ice." 35MM is better quality. So when it is converted into HD, it loses quality. It is being converted, but into less quality. Hence down converting. Unless I am missing something here.
-
No, you have to buy it. Which is complete bullshit.
-
Well yes. But to get to one file to another, you have to convert. And to get from film to HD, you have to convert. Film might look better, but I don't have a projecter. So I'll stick with HD. Does anyone else have a HD-DVD Player or a Blu-Ray player?
