  1. Only in the WWE folder could a well built male punch a woman in the face and be defended and crowned a hero among men everywhere.
  2. Any last requests Bob?
  3. Oh, I blocked that script years ago.
  4. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. If it wasn't a net favorite, I'm sure they'd be crying bloody murder. The fact is a guy, over 200lbs and well built, punched a woman in the face. If this was a guy on the street, it'd be frowned upon and he'd get assault charges pressed against him. Even if the security team looked a little lax trying to protect Jericho, the whole thing went way out of hand and no one (Security, Jericho, WWE Security, and fans a like) helped the matter.
  5. Yeah, I wasn't even aware those guys in the blue shirts were security till the second viewing, they don't do much at all. If anything they make it worse. Either way, Jericho will be the doghouse, as I can see WWE settling out of court.
  6. What ads?
  7. You better have some film this on their phone or something so we know who won. Otherwise, I might think you lost.
  8. Wasn't there a prophecy that said if TMC ever became aware of this thread Bob Barron would actually die?
  9. Anime porn always struck me as something for people who weren't fully committed to turning into a full blown pedophile.
  10. I like the spin that the wrestling forum who wrote the article put on the title. Jericho Assaulted BY fans... surely Jericho was the assaulting people. As a public figure its going to look worse against him, them some rowdy college turds trying to provoke him. Be crazy if this was an angle lol
  11. Beats Newcastle's 0 player team
  12. Don't ever try to play the injury card, can't stand people who use that as an excuse. EVERY team gets crippling injuries so it evens out over the season, some teams have half a squad at a time injured. Or are you saying that Liverpool are a one player team?
  13. How many points would Liverpool have if you took away all the goals they've scored in 'stoppage' time this season?
  14. That has to be photoshopped!
  15. To give HHH credit, he helped to put over Mankind's Heel turn in the KotR match they had. Obviously, it was already in progress, but they worked the match well to put him over.
  16. As mentioned in the CWDWAT the Halo Wars demo is out. Seems ok, but nothing special. I'm not a huge RTS fan, so my views aren't great.
  17. You'll likely get your wish. Vic hits way too hard and Jorge is way too hittable. He'll put up more of a fight than Mijares did before he goes down early. On the Brits, the thing that's always confused me is why they never seemed to like Lewis that much Granted, he won his medal for Canada, but you figure they'd take some pride in having the best HW since Holmes calling himself a Brit. I'm not sure, but I always get the impression that we're a nation of boxing fans that only appear when the media circus erupts. We all loved Bruno as he had a lot of media coverage and attention for his fights, same with Joe and Ricky Hatton. A little less for Chris Eubanks, though I can't remember him ever really being liked for some reason. Everyone loved Prince Nassem, again due to his never ending media coverage for his fights. Lennox Lewis just sort of trundled along and never really got much news time for whatever reason, until the end of his career.
  18. I thought that was a pretty boring episodes with no really surprises apart from Jin popping up. I guess they've filled enough back story now, to do away with the flashbacks, so the group flash forwards makes sense.
  19. Ah fair enough, I don't have an opinion on the guy. I don't really watch much boxing apart from the odd PPV bout now and again, so it'd be wrong for me to say he was great or crap either way. Just thought I'd point out it was a bit funny how all the Brits blindly adore him, and all the Americans say he's a wimp. Just wonder if it'd be the same if the tables were turned.
  20. Obama hates Gingers just like nearly everyone else - what a guy!
  21. Its always interesting read the American's take on Joe Calzaghe and then the UK's take. I wonder if he was an American, the roles would be reversed and we'd be saying the same things.
  22. I reckon TMC has depression, all his posts are based around 'Why is 'x' worse now' or 'How did 'x' fall from grace' 'What was the worst year for 'x', etc.
  23. Getting rid of that, having the general thread moderated regularly was one of the best things to happen to be fair. Seems a lot more discussion happens now. I don't mind this TMC bloke too much, at least he's trying to start some discussion, though he does seem to be blowing his wad all at once, which I can see being tiring for some people. Only ever seems to be the same few people who have the confidence to strike up a discussion topic outside of CWDWAT.
  24. Star Trek has such a large core fan base that I don't think it really fits on that list. OK, so Enterprise was dropped after 4 seasons, but that didn't stop them funding to make another movie. If they were to make another TV series, you know it'll grab a high percentage of the TV share. As for the movies, again, you know it'll get the hardcore fans going to watch it (and bitch about it no matter what) and they'll rarely get new fans in due to stigma or not knowing whats going on. So the 'reboot' will do good to freshen up the franchise, new look, it starts from the beginning, but will be familiar enough for the core fanbase to relate to (and feed their bitching). I agree that Jaws needs to be on the list, as does Batman. X-Men as a collective is probably over, but as a Franchise its fine. They have enough characters and backstories (and time frames) to delve into they'll be able to pump out a number of films - see Wolverine. Spiderman while it has confounded those of us who have read the comics (or at the least seen the Cartoons) with its story arch in the third film, the average movie goer will enjoy and still go to see a Spiderman 4 without a second thought. So, by no means is that a Fallen Franchise. Superman I agree with this. Superman Returns, even as a standalone film, was such a strange movie, that if it was the only Superman movie someone had seen or even heard about, its got a hard job to regain some of that crowd. A Son out of no where, 90 mins of build up to Superman lifting an island (that should have killed him) into space, and other annoying moments. AvP its fallen due to our expectations, but from what its offered and continued to offer, its gave what it set out to give. A mindless action movie for the jocks and MTV lovers.
  25. Don't think they ever came out over here in the UK, I'll see if I can 'find' them. I guess, once he starts to wear the kit, he'll fit the frame and demeanor of the Cobra Commander anyway. He's a weedy guy with a great mind.
