Just because WWE doesn't have mainstream competition doesn't mean the belt doesn't mean anything. The credibility of the belt is determined by the contenders fighting for it. Or, it should be viewed as that and not how many times it changes hands (unless it's to someone like David Arquette or Cody Rhodes).

Huh? Anyways, belts changing hands between two wrestlers a couple of time is fine. Ric Flair did it a ton of times, and nobody here probably would bitch about that because wrestling was in a "golden era" before the "boom era". I like the title changing hands a couple of times during the course of a feud between two credible wrestlers. As much as Batista sucks, he is still credible to the casual WWE viewer to hold the title, and Jericho is probably getting there if he isn't already.

A man can dream...I mean, if people can dream that Penn State will win the national title, I can dream that Bret Hart will enter a WWE ring. Congrats for bringing in a point that has no grounds into this conversation. Must be proud.

The Phillies officially announced Ruben Amaro, Jr. as their new GM this morning in a press conference. He's been around during the Ed Wade and Pat Gillick era, the two minds behind our current team. Let's hope he's learned from both GM's and can become one of the best in the game. He's already had experience talking to agents and players like a true GM while he was an assistant, so I'm happy with this selection. See ya, Mike Arbuckle. Also, that Howard deal would have blown my mind. I still don't let him go right now. He would have had a chip on his shoulder in the NLCS and probably would have taken Phils pitching as well as Manny did.

I can try to set up my VCR and/or DVD Recorder. I will be going around 9am, and my mom has said she will try and record it for me. It'll be the Comcast SportsNet version, although I'm sure it'll be on the major local network channels. EDIT: Luckily, my boss told me to just call off. I would have left work at 1pm anyway to go to class, but since I only have one, I'll skip it.

Oh, it makes no sense to replay it. I'm miffed that they didn't suspend the game after the 5th inning. It's unfair the Phillies didn't get a chance to bat in those same conditions that the Rays did to finish the inning. That's the only reason the situation pissed me off. (It's easier to hit in weather like that, which is why I think it's unfair.)

I don't know who said the Phils should have been awarded the game. "Calling the game" in this instance means simply suspending it. I didn't want the Phillies to win that way. I just want a fair game, and the way they suspended it in the middle of a fucking inning is about as unfair as you can get.
