  1. Matt Hardy signed his wwe.com universe blog - "Cold Blood" Matt Hardy Maybe we should have a poll which is the lamest - A)Angelic Diablo B)Black Cloud C)Cold Blood These are bad backyard fed names. I feel embarrassed for the guy.
  2. Matt Hardy responds via his myspace - I think London could be work'ing here. And Matt Hardy could be as well.
  3. I say pay Bryan Danielson whatever he wants to come in. He has international cred, never been in the wwe, could claim to be the best technical wrestler in the world, trained by HBK, fought all around the world and has a standing offer from the wwe and never accepted it.
  4. I think the timing of this is interesting. It's so soon after WM that I think it might be a case where Orton challenges for HHH's title at WM (HHH wins elimination chamber). And then they need to get both back on Raw quickly soon after WM, hence the early date. Or HHH simply needs to jump to Raw to get involved with the Legacy vs McMahon feud. If SD! keeps taping two shows back-to-back, I could see HBK making the switch as he'd have more time at home. To Raw HHH Undertaker Mark Henry Finlay To Smackdown! HBK CM Punk Jack Swagger Christian To ECW William Regal The Brian Kendrick Dolph Ziggler Kizarny
  5. Roode is crud. I think the wwe showed interest just to allow TNA to essentially bid against themselves. Shelley is just going through the motions now - it's to the point where he'll stay if the money is right, but would probably be happier on the indies. He's probably eying a ROH return as well now that they got television. I know he hung them out to dry when he jumped to TNA, so I wonder if ROH would want him back.
  6. No it's not. Wrestling is storytelling. Nobody will question the in-ring talent available to TNA, but it's the creative team that sucks - you know the people who script out the shows, the writers. Exactly. He made compelling characters of guys who've since flamed out of the wwe. And his critiques of the wwe and TNA for the UK Sun are usually spot on - he still gets it.
  7. I took it two ways - "Casper" being insider lingo for being depushed for no reason, ie being replaced by a ghost. Either that or he thinks Ezekiel's name is "Casper Jackson".
  8. I guess it could be "in character", I mean how can he blast Bourne's SSP with a straight face? Admittedly London's was worlds better than Kidman's shooting star flop, but Bourne's is a thing of beauty. "Circus of Gay"?? Matt Hardy blogged a response, however it was on wwe universe, and thus was in character.
  9. No, he won't. Yes, he would.
  10. I don't want TNA to fail, it would be terrible for the business. Jeff Jarrett is the problem, but he's also part owner and Dixie knows nothing about wrestling so Jarrett basically calls all of the shots. Somebody needs to get in Dixie's ear and get her to buy out Jarrett and fire creative and make Paul Heyman an offer he can't refuse. Heyman is the only acquisition that I think would pretty much guatenteed to double the ratings in six months time.
  11. Matthews is calling FCW with Scotty Goldman right now. I would love to hear their stuff. It's not good. However Scotty's wwe.com show is getting better - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtqtqWfWDCA (Feb 4th edition) Also regarding announcers - the wwe recently put out a help wanted ad looking for a PBP guy with at least three years PBP experience. Maybe this will be for the new "Wwe Superstars" show.
  12. It happened. http://www.wwe.com/content/media/video/vms...ary8-14/9351648 (I can't watch the vid for whatever reason, but from thewwe.com write up it looks like the bit) Okay, you can watch it here as well - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEhOglD9Gek It was a backstage segment! I wonder if they showed it on the jumbotron at one point or the dirtsheet just got wind of the bit from a backstage source.
  13. Talkatoo Cockatoo from Zoobilee Zoo...
  14. From Gerweck (who looks to have poached Meltzer)
  15. Yeah, but that was in your pre-pubescent days when you hoped to catch a glimpse of Mt. Fiji's side boob.
  16. I appreciate a good women's match, but I don't think I'd watch an all-diva's show. Teddy Long's GM assistant girl aka Tiffany is trained to wrestle.
  17. I must have missed that. But then again, I don't think I got up and left anytime during the ECW show. I can't fins where I read this. God, I hope I didn't dream this - a commercial break ECW segment, let alone one involving Burchill.
  18. The rationale behind the releases is that TNA wants to freshen things up, and well since the ME guys are going nowhere, they're going to bring in new undercard guys. It's not like Rave, Hoyt or Petey had any rub to give. The door is open for them to return later on. Maybe this will open up spots for Ken Doane and Elijah Burke...
  19. I wonder if the wwe is thinking of relaunching the cruiserweight division on ECW. I can't say I'd be a fan of it as I think it pigeonholes the talent (in the eyes of Creative and the fans to a lesser extent).
  20. Scroby, other reports have Paul Burchill doing a bit where he goes into a tirade (wwe playing off the Christian Bale meltdown vid) during a commercial break. Did it look like they were trying out a(nother) new character for Burchill, or just something to pass the time.
  21. I don't want Flair in the ring. He got the epic send off, and the match last year was perfect. He can corner Rourke. Edge vs HHH does nothing for me as well. They usually lack chemistry to boot, so it can't even be considered the "OMG workrate" match. I'd rather have seen HHH involved with the Legacy vs McMahon feud setting up Orton(with Shane in his corner) vs HHH. HBK with JBL vs Undertaker is interesting, but why wouldn't JBL want the streak shot for himself? I think the set-up will be HBK beats JBL and wins his freedom. He looks around at the WM card and see's he's locked out of any title shots and what is Mr Wrestlemania to do. He then calls out the Undertaker. Could JBL fit into the Jericho/Rourke feud? JBL could rub his legit investments in the face of the old timers who need to wrok indie dates to pay bills. And given this will be a somewhat main stream angle, JBL does have the legit business cred. JBL would surely love to pimp his energy drinks in the MSM coverage. It could be Jericho and JBL vs Rourke and active wrestler. Rourke's tag partner could have been R-Truth, as he was in The Wrestler with Rourke, but would probably be an old timer like Piper or Flair. I could better accept Flair in ring if it was a tag match. I don't know about Chavo getting a US title shot. I'd give that spot to a higher card guy. Kennedy would be a better choice, however with MVP turning face, feuding with face Kennedy wouldn't fit. I might go champion vs champion here MVP vs CM Punk. If MVP gets over enough as a face I might try MVP vs Koslov.
  22. The Crown Jewel of the Embassy returns to help out Nana.
  23. According to PWTorch this is the current plans for the top of the WM25 card - Now I could see a Swagger vs Finlay vs Christian triple threat match for the ECW title, however assuming there will be another MITB, Christian could also be slotted in there. There is a lot of possible MITB contenders though - Benjamin, MVP, R-Truth, Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston, Miz, Morrison, Dibiase, Rhodes, Regal, Kane, Knox, Santino, Kendrick, Umaga, Kozlov. I assume CM Punk will be defending his IC title, and think Miz/Morrison will defend the tags against Cryme Tyme and Dibiase/Rhodes or one of those two teams and Carly and Primo. Big Show will need to find a dance partner as well. Same with JBL. Rourke vs Jericho is probably going to happen.
  24. While I've been a big critic of the ridiculously small ECW roster, I look forward to see Christian fight/feud with Finlay, Miz/Morrison, Bourne and even television matches with Henry, Gabriel and Burchill. IN the very least that could take him to the mid-summer draft.
