Some markets do have it over the air. I know the channel's buried on my digital cable here behind all the HD channels.

John Cena calls out the The Rock for leaving wrestling
JHawk replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
The Rock should only return if he puts someone over, and it should be contractually stipulated that Triple H can't have anything to do with him for at least three years. -
Of course, that's just Dave taking what I assumed was the problem and reporting it as fact, which is pretty awesome. Of course it could also prove that Dave is full of shit, makes up stories, and there really were recording problems. They showed replays of Nitro of TNT later that night. If there were recording problems, the replay wouldn't have aired (and the replay is how I watched Nitro back then). Recording problems my ass.

There ain't shit else in Canton.
-
I distinctly remember getting DQd in a triple threat match to retain the International Title. Depends on who's booking and/or marking.
-
Recording problems? The shows were replayed the same night, which is how I originally watched it. I call bullshit. Wait, Hogan jobbed to Luger that night. Maybe the tape was destroyed due to Hogan's creative control.

I thought it was one of Curt Hennig's kids the first time he showed up on ECW. Similar facial features.

Notice the HHH set completely ignored the WCW years. I wanted Jean Paul Levesque vs. Alex Wright, dammit!

From wrestlingobserver.com's latest batch of feedback: Got a chuckle out of that.

Never changed mine either. Of course, I'm very uncool.

SWF "Can't Get A Date" (Card)
JHawk replied to King Cucaracha's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Since the show's in four days somebody might want to figure out who's marking what match. -
How much are you getting back in taxes this year
JHawk replied to Youth N Asia's topic in General Chat
Still waiting on a W2 from the job I had the first two weeks of the year. I usually end up paying the city because I work outside of the city...yet the city I work for takes taxes out of my checks every two weeks and never refunds me. -
Mississippi doesnt want restaurants serving fat people
JHawk replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Current Events
I can't speak for anybody else, but I tend to order the footlong around lunchtime because then I have something healthy and sensible I can eat at night when I get hungry. Eating it in one sitting is probably pushing it, but I've been known to do it if I'm hungry enough. -
Well, Umaga came out fifth, but having him talk might kill the gimmick.

I'd have gone with Tuck as MVP, but Manning did engineer the game-winning drive, a couple of times making things happen when it appeared he was definitely going to be sacked. Wrong choice but I can understand the logic.
-
Just a reminder we're less than an hour away from the James Beard show. Call in and ask any question about Dallas wrestling you would like.

Looking at the 24/7 Online lineup a couple of days late, and it strikes me as odd that they didn't offer the two Rude-Warrior title switches as part of the History of the Intercontinental Title series. They must not have had any other decent Warrior or Rude matches to fill an hour. Although the entire 1990 title tournament on demand is awesome from a nostalgia standpoint.
-
Wow. Short and to the point. That's gonna be in the running for best submission at the end of the night.
-
Five months with zero title defenses. Not even at a house show. I forgot WCW had a World Title in 1995.

I could agree with 29-28 Griffin, but no way Griffin won round 2. I gave one to Griffin, and three was close enough to go either way IMO. 30-27 just doesn't feel right.
-
OK, the judges were watching a different fight than I was. You could argue Griffin winning the first round, but unless foot stomps score a shit ton of points I thought Tibau took 2 and 3. Neither guy did much in three, but Tibau got the takedowns.
