  1. A great read. I was anxious to see where the story would go. My only concern with the angle is where it would lead. Sorry, but I'd rather not see Steph on TV and the 6 guys would probably dominate the main event scene. But, as far as fantasy booking, this was excellent.
  2. He'll always be Pig Vomit to me.
  3. I could see One Night Stand being a resurrection of the ECW brand name. If RVD leaves with the World Title then I'd be more willing to believe that it is happening.
  4. I remember him. A good one to bring up for this topic. He was supposed to be awesome, but never developed at all.
  5. No Halloween or Rocky?
  6. If it's so pathetic, why are there already TWO threads in this folder dedicated to it?

    PC Question

When's the last time the machine was reformatted?
  8. I'd probably be more willing to donate/contribute if things were a tad more reasonable here. Moderators can seemingly ban whoever they want for pleasure so I'm inclined to save my money for more democratic things in life. Sorry, just giving my honest opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if others felt this way as well.
  9. Head booker or not, I fail to see how an OWNER does not have the final say in how his company is being run. Obviously things would be different if TNA were a publically traded company. And as far as Panda goes, they seem interested in seeing TNA succeed, but it's clearly Jarrett's company to play with.
  10. Take Lita's book to get signed. There's all sorts of fun trivia in there.
  11. The Tominators: Booker T Carlito John Cena Rey Mysterio Christy Hemme Muhammad Hassan Eric Bischoff Shelton Benjamin The Hurricane
  12. He makes for a decent backup in Madden.
  13. So, he didn't mind putting over Sara Undertaker but had a problem with Monty?
  14. I can understand Matt falling for her. Sometimes the male ego wants to believe that it can tame a wild beast such as Lita. And seriously, people can change their lifestyles if they want to. It's possible, but doesn't happen very often.
  15. Yeah, I didn't mean to give you a hard time or anything. I think the new generation of wrestlers are really suffering from being put in a position that they aren't ready for. The Angle/Marty match from Smackdown was a nice example of two guys who know how to work a match. The generic OVW guys seem completely lost in the ring when compared to a guy like Benoit who can improvise when needed. As stated before, Sheltdon definitely has a "what will he do next?" vibe which can only help his cause. To the average fan, he definitely stands out of the crowd. Jericho's "I don't care" gimmick may actually represent more of the backstage than just himself. Booker and RVD have been insanely over throughout their careers, but (you figure out why) were not able to make the leap to the next level. As far as I'm concerned they are the new JOB Squad.
  16. In a worked sport, every single thing a wrestler does panders to the crowd. I thought this what they taught on the first day of wrestling school.
  17. If a wrestler doesn't pander to the crowd then he won't have a job for very long.
  18. I really wouldn't be surprised if Edge won the title next week.
  19. That sig made me laugh. Victoria daydreaming about SpongeBob
  20. What gets me is that Matt and Lita weren't married for 20 years with children and all that stuff. They were boyfriend/girlfriend and it ended. These things happen all the time. I'm sure Matt will have no problem finding someone else.
  21. I'll enjoy seeing the Impact Players reunite.
  22. I was uncomfortable watching Trish bark like a dog, Foley getting his head beat in my Rock's chairshots, and seeing Molly get her head shaved but I survived. Real life issues have always been used in wrestling. Remember Lawler bringing up Jake Roberts' alcoholism or CM Punk bringing up Raven's drug past. Even something like Heyman's promo on Vince during the Invasion regarding his feeling that Vince turned ECW into WWF: Attitude was based on real life emotions.
  23. Vince took the screwjob and basically turned it into the Attitude era. Do you find that sickening? A man lost his job and was betrayed by a man he trusted, just to make a profit. It was scummy, yes. But it made money. WWE is ultimately a business, and it has a remote chance of making money, WWE will do it. And to a lot of fans, ie not Hardy fangirls/boys and the IWC, this is just a storyline like Jericho/Trish/Christian. I don't see how you can expect Vince McMahon, of all people, to be respectful of this situation. I don't find that sickening because a man lost his job to make 3 million or whatever in WCW. I don't expect the WWE to be respectful either; we all saw this coming pretty much from the beginning of the Gold Rush. Just to finally see it on the air was a bit personally disgusting; only because I was in a situation close to Hardy's. It's like seeing the girl that betrayed myself after 3 years with the man I thought was my friend. This won't make money; but yes I see why they did it. It's just sickening to me personally. It's pro wrestling, calm down.
  24. I get the feeling that a lot of the current rappers are to hip hop what Winger was to metal.
  25. If I were him, I'd be concerned about gettting injured. That would be unfortunate after finally earning himself a contract.
