I also feel as though the box has been opened. There were a lot of people at the bar tonight who have NEVER seen an ECW show before. They left wanting more. Seems to me as though the market is there. NO ONE cared about the Vengeance ad that ran.
I can understand constructive criticism, but welcome to the wrestling business (or any business). It's about making money. If ECW can make Vince money then he'll do it.
For a few moments, I was able to observe the people around me and I took in their reactions. Keeping in mind, this was the same place that I saw the Invasion PPV at, it's amazing how the average wrestling fan has been DYING for a show like this. Vince has to be seeing dollar signs right now.
There is no doubt to me, based on what I saw at the bar tonight, that there will be more ECW shows in the future. I haven't seen that kind of buzz among wrestling fans in years.
All I can say is that I watched the show from the same bar that I've been going to for the past 4 years and I have NEVER seen a reaction to a PPV like that before. It wasn't perfect, but it delivered.

Note: Feel free to move this if I put it in the wrong folder. I just figured this might be relevant to the WWE folder since One Night Stand is on Sunday.
Also, I can't help but think that the Hardcore Homecoming guys will actually show up. So, I wouldn't be too surprised if Raven, Lynn, Douglas, Funk show up.
