Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 1, 2002 Baltimore D vs. Miami D Advantage: Push Both great Defenses and both playing crap offenses...should be interesting to say the least. Baltimore isn't a great defense anymore. Alot of defensive holes + what should be a shitty offense = Not a good defense
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted September 1, 2002 Well... I think I'm gonna win since the Space Monkeys look like crap on paper except for Ahmed Green.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 1, 2002 Well... I think I'm gonna win since the Space Monkeys look like crap on paper except for Ahmed Green. I don't know about that. Brunell vs. Plummer: Both QBs will be about even and neither will likely put up great numbers. Boston/Robinson vs. Ismail/McCardell: You have a slight advantage but your problem is that for almost every point you make on Boston Space Monkeys will make on Plummer. So it's basically Robinson vs. Ismail and McCardell and even though McCardell and Ismail are the number 2 guys they will still get good points. Taylor/Fuamatu-Ma'afal vs. Ahman Green/McAllister: He will easily kill your RBs Franks vs. Conwell: Rams rarely use the TE so you will easily win here. Minnis/Westbrook/Scott vs. Green/Shaw/Parker. Since Minnis has been put on the PUP list and Scott has been cut he will most likely win here. Akers vs. Hanson: You will probably win here Philly vs. Dallas: Philly is playing a good offensive team in the Titans and Dallas is playing the Texans. Advantage Dallas. It's going to be harder for you to win then you think.

Baltimore isn't a great defense anymore. Alot of defensive holes + what should be a shitty offense = Not a good defense Still better than alot of teams D as long as Lewis is involved. Regardless it's still an even matchup since Miami is overrated anyways.
Guest MrRant Report post Posted September 2, 2002 I shall whoop you all because I am the: Bellingham NO MA'AM!!
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted September 2, 2002 I'm getting my ass whooped, I realize that now. Plus, both Rod Smart AND Skip Hicks were cut. Damn, I DESPERATELY need an RB.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 2, 2002 We will all see that Ray Lewis is just another LB and that he's not some special freak of nature player. Overrated and now overpayed. Now don't get me wrong he is a good lb but he is overrated. Now Baltimore doesn't have a good Dline that will keep the offensive line busy and get blockers out of Lewis's way. Lewis will come back down to earth and Baltimore will see that there isn't anything special about him and will find out they are overpaying a lb who isn't some amazing freak of a player that can carry an entire defense. Guest MrRant Report post Posted September 2, 2002 I just have too many damn receivers
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted September 2, 2002 I have too many receivers...and I have a very uneasy feeling that one of my players is going to spontaneously combust on the field or get killed in some bizarre gardening accident.
Guest MrRant Report post Posted September 2, 2002 LOL... I know James Stewart is gonna break down and then I'm gonna be "el fucko".
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted September 2, 2002 And, of course, being Marvin's (FAAAAAHK YOU, MANG) "Safe Pick of the Week" inevitably means I'll get blown out by 45 points for week 1.
Guest MrRant Report post Posted September 2, 2002 Yeah.... 20 teams... this could be a fantasy season of pure suck lol.
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted September 2, 2002 Well, it's thin enough that if one of your starters goes down with turf toe or a nagging thumbnail, it could easily crash an entire game or two.
Guest MrRant Report post Posted September 2, 2002 Well I have enough WR and TE but other than that... El Crap.
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted September 2, 2002 Well, here's the deal: Tailback is the most fragile position in football. Runningback is also the thinnest position in fantasy football. They say that only 65% of the starting tailbacks listed at the beginning of the year maintain their starting job throughout the entire year...soooooooo, a lot of teams, especially those thin at RB, could go splat if this trend holds up. Guest hardyz1 Report post Posted September 2, 2002 A sidenote on Rod Smart: I was watching the Kentucky/Louisville game last night and I saw on the Bottom Line that he had been cut. But it didn't just say "Eagles cut RB Rod Smart" It said "Eagles cut RB (He Hat Me) Rod Smart". Yes, that's right, they misspelled Hate. Oh, and i'm going to win Week 1 easily. Guest razazteca Report post Posted September 2, 2002 anybody want to do a last minute trade? I fear that Desmond Howard will get 2 TDs on punt returns or opening kick off. Not sure to start him or the Redskins WR.
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted September 2, 2002 Desmond Howard's going to score two TD's this year...I wouldn't hedge my bets on them being in the first game.

Guest razazteca Report post Posted September 4, 2002 any predictions of who will score teh most points? I think my team QB Gannon will get 3 TDs RBs might get 3 TDs 200yds WRs get 4 TDs Kicker 6pts Defense 12pts TE 3pts
Guest bravesfan Report post Posted September 5, 2002 Plus, both Rod Smart AND Skip Hicks were cut. Smart was picked up by the Panthers earlier this week. With Foster out, Rod could start (who's their other RB?) and with RODNEY FREAKIN' PEETE as their QB, Smart could get a lot of carries.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted September 5, 2002 He Hate Me will not start as Lamar Smith gets the starting job, Rod Smart will probably be the 3rd down back or special teamer I got Darnay Scott, how was just picked up by the Cowboys and will probably start!!!!! How Do You Like Dem Apples
Guest cartman Report post Posted September 5, 2002 with Quincy Carter throwing to him....Dem some rotten apples! lol
Guest razazteca Report post Posted September 5, 2002 no, no, no they are Delicious
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 5, 2002 Darnay Scott will probably be the 3rd receiver unless Antonio Bryant looked like total crap in camp and preseason. But since Bryant is a rookie and rookie wrs always struggle Scott will still get a fair amount of looks.
Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted September 5, 2002 My team is The A Team. I hadn't looked at my roster for about 2 weeks, because there really was no action, but now that I looked, it seems that I have a pretty good WR group that could rival anyone in the league, but I have a real weakness at Running Back. I think Michael Vick is a big question mark at QB and I didn't have any depth at that position so I picked up Kitna just in case. Other than that my team is pretty average. Looks like I match up OK against my week 1 opponent Lunatics R Us and that matchup could go either way.
