Okay, yeah... breathe. No banning. That's just stupid, admittedly.

But I've hated Wilson for a while now. So there.

But when I said use Silent, I just asked for him to be there. I didn't want him to interfere. Which I specifically said to Wilson.

Well, I smelled arguing so I thought I just had to throw my hat in.

First off great show, the WFs usually are.

Alright, now from my point of view, I believe Silent was justified... to an extent. If you want to include someone in a promo as like a backstage "Oh hey, there's so-and-so." I believe thats alright, it doesn't hurt anybody and it gets your character a little more notice. But if you are going to attack someone, and you ask them, and they say no, then you shouldn't do it.

I've talked with Silent in the chat several times and he is a fairly smart cat. And he seems at least a bit more social than his character. So the way I see it, I don't think Silent dug the idea of having the beatdown that night, but I honestly don't think that Silent would be completely against having Silent beat up by the M7 somewhere in the future. He probably just felt that it was a bad time for it.

But Silent isn't all right. Just like Thugg said, if you attack someone's character or their entire stable for that matter, I would call that being involved with the other characters. Plus the idea that you don't want to be involved with the M7 at all is ludicrous. The M7 has, what, 5-6 active wrestlers? I think that you will, at some time or another, be up against at least one of them, therefore making you involved. Maybe not the whole "I hate you, lets fight!" kind of involved, but it is still being involved.

Those three cats have been working on this angle for some time now, and the beatdown kinda took away from Silent's heat, therefore drawing at least a small bit of attention away from their big angle. Lucky thing is that it was only a small bit of heat taken away, still repairable. But now it is almost certain that the Silent character will have to seek revenge again on the M7 and therefore starting up a small feud. By jumping Silent without his consent, you automatically started up a feud. Whether it was Wilson trying to get his hands in the well, like Thoth said. Or maybe you didn't really mean to take away from Silent's heat, I don't know.

But I do know this. As an outsider looking in, it now seems to me that whether or not either of you wanted to, Silent and the M7 are now feuding. Hopefully you can find some way to settle this so that both parties will be content, but for now, you have sidetracked Silent, Edwin, and Thoth's angle that they have had planned for a long time. Wilson, I know you don't like me or my character, but these are the opinions of someone with no prior beef with either party and someone with a mainly clear head on his shoulders, so if you or anyone else doesn't like it you can kiss my ass.

By having his character attack M7 at Wargames... insisting he did so...

...how is he going to avoid having heat with M7?

Please, someone answer me this question. Else, please step off...

Thank you, and resume flaming.

Ahem. Comments soon, as I'm in the midst of the show, but all the arguing merits some additional reason, though TNT summed it up pretty well. You go, boy!

First up: there's no intention in having Silent be some untouchable god. If you read Smarkdown, you'll see Edwin expressly advising Z of this! If you'll read my post, I believe the fourth on the comments thread, I allay fears that he's getting too much too soon. If you please, please, just sit back and watch, you will very quickly realize that Silent and Edwin have a long way to go before they even come close to battling. I don't think of it as Silent in an angle with the world champion--I think of it as Silent being an angle with Edwin MacPhisto. Wilson and M7 are my "world title" angle presently. If I hold onto the belt, I have more planned. Silent/Edwin is a story, a feud we want to run, plain and simple.

As for the issue: personally, I don't think the beatdown hurts Silent's character much. In the context of the match, it worked all right.

BUT.

And here's the big "but."

I still think it was wrong to do it.

I *understand* that it might make sense for the M7 to beat down Silent, and I know that having him debut by beating up established competitors was a pretty high-class debut. Nonetheless--if you directly ask someone-ANYONE, not just Silent-- "Can I have my stable beat you down in my match?" and they respond in the negative, you just don't do it.

Plain and simple. That has ALWAYS been one of the biggest, most crucial rules of this game. If you ask someone to do something with your character, even if you think it's right or important or whatever, and they say no, that's it. Unless you can convince the person to give you their consent, that's the final word.

That said, this shouldn't be a big deal. If Silent said no, Wilson shouldn't have done it. He did though, but fortunately the IC damage isn't that big a deal.

My suggestions:

Wilson, don't do it again. It's a pretty dicky thing to do to somebody, no matter how right you think it is.

Silent, don't worry about it, and just look at this as more people to kill or what-have-you.

Simply put: don't snipe about petty shit, because you're both a lot better than that, and it's silly to see you reduced to flaming and personal attacks.

Just an FYI: Silent didn't insist on that at all, as far as I know.

I engineered the "can we get Silent in the main event?" deal pretty much by myself for Wargames. Didn't force Wilson to do anything, but he was good enough to let Silent have an impact.

Y'all beings stealings me RETURN GLORIFIED!

To answer some questions ... I will be watching the shows, the boards, and so on. I will bust out a promo now and then. XF9 is free to use me as an escort for their matches. And I will still kick any ass that tries anything. ::eyes Wilson::

I'll have to edit in my reply to being Thugg's woman when I read Wilson's Ali promo. Beingz at work lates suX0rs.

...and the losing streak is at 5. Maybe I can get booked against Thugg and King now, since I couldn't snap a losing streak against the World Champ. Throw me a frickin' bone. here! :D

And for the rest of the show: Big shout-out to Fallout for winning the ICTV title, and doing a pretty good job with my complex, deeply layered character (I mean, he likes to beat people up, AND he hates Erek Taylor! That's some deep shit, folks!). I wanted another shot at the ICTV Title, but maybe I can square off against Fallout for that belt sometime. Not that I'd have a chance in hell, but it'd be fun anyway.

Eddie, nice match for a guy with a concussion. That's why he's the world champ, ladies and gents!

Sarah! Great to see you again! Stubby and JD were being reduced to mocking TNT! But seriously, it's good to have your character back, XF9 gets bigger and badder, and now they won't get ripped off by the people who sign the paychecks! What a deal!

TNT won a belt? Goddamn...

*looks to see if pigs are flying*

...nope. Well, stranger things have happened...wait, no they haven't

ME was pretty tight, despite the controversy. It does add a certain edge to the matches, however, and I get the feeling that the ME on Storm is going to be a spectacular match from whoever wins it.

If I didn't comment on your match, then I don't like you, or my famously spotty memory crapped out.

And now that I've finally gotten to it...the show!

First, as usual, the promos and storylines:

The opening XF9 promo was good...something felt a little missing, like it was a little rushed, but it got the point across, and it did it fast. I REALLY liked the LDP trading words with Wilson parts, thought the "pass the mic" aspect was a nice way of getting everyone some talk time, and of course marked like a fiend when the Mistress herself appeared!

Wilson's Ali promo was quite classy, an odd thing from the man who is usually master of the wild plot scenario, but a good pile of thoughts. I do wonder how much of the IC disses and main event shenanigans Silent will take into account, because there is some cool potential for stuff, even if it isn't much of the original plan. My guess is on little, but hey, no biggie.

Z/Silent was brutal hardcore wrasslin' at its sloppy finest, and the after-match promo sealed the deal. Excellent mindgames there, and something that hell, made me the writer, not just the character, want to get out there and help Z out.

I'm gonna disagree with Wilson here and say that I kinda liked the slight step-off of Strangler/Erek. They've been going full-throttle for a while, look geared for another confrontation come PPV time, and this, while not too much, was pretty big event. Too many "You suck!" promos and beatdowns can overload a story, and this was a good break--now, on Storm, I fully hope to see some more of the 'paranoid pissed-off Strangler' in action.

Wilson winning the match against Thoth sets up a huge three-way for Storm...I would have liked to write a singles match, personally, but man, you couldn't have booked this better. Elimination match, three guys with tensions all between...now, let's have a good clean fight, and let's get it on!

And onto the matches, which I thought were pretty exceptional tonight.

-XF9 gone and done it again! Face lesbians got it goin' ON. Choice taunts from Annie at the beginning, and some nice tag wrestling within. I was excited--this played out like a really well-booked upset tag victory. The Renegade/Breggan sequences were my favorites--it was cool to see Breggan dominating Renegade, who isn't exactly a lightweight, and even cooler to see Renegade mounting the big comeback. Pretty unorthodox, since usually the 150-or-so-pound Annie would be bumping around the whole match. Commentary seemed a bit rushed, but worked well in its limited use, putting over psychology. The finish was lacking in drama, but worked well for the upset win. And Annie's still gunning for the Dawg...all in all, a match with some flaws that probably could have used another read-through, but fortunately the wit and story told in the match made up for some small faults.

-New Champz0r TNT! The explosive one pulls out a brutal effort. Playing the face was a smart move--I always say that bad-ass heel trumps smarmy egotist when it comes to face pops. You did a real good job of capturing Flesher's mat-wrestling skills in that opener, and then a real good job of working the arm all much to make the SUPER SICK ORANGE CRUSH all the better! A little too much "happens in the commentary" action...I thought we might need a little more straight-descriptive passages this time, kinda felt like we were watching the commentators rather than the match towards the end. The finish was a bit hard to visualize, but I thought it was worth reading a few times anyway. Good back-and-forth technical brawl.

-My match was concussariffic! It was a bit hectic, but I'm happy with how it how it turned out in the end. Strangler/Frost, I'm really interested to see your unorthodox match you spoke of, so either post it or PM me, maybe?

And...comments interrupted, as I'm going out.. Back for more later.

1) Taft, I like you now that you used the term "Cats" That just clears up a lot.

2) Thoth, Silent beat me by default in the ML because I no-showed the match and was done with the run with Vlad. Had WF PPV that weekend, more important. And I never really had a problem with you, but if you don't like me, that's cool.

3) I probably was flaming, but at least I put it out into the open, and I feel somewhat relieved now.

4) That show was still hella-good.

And I'm finite.

Okay. Went to a party. Went to the girlfriend's house. It's been a good day, so here's my somewhat refined take on things.

Wilson, IC stuff aside, I owe you an apology. While I'm not agreeing, condoning, or even halfway accepting what you've done IC with Silent for the last two weeks, my reaction to it was completely out of proportion. I'm throughly invested in this storyline I've been working on with Edwin and Thoth(a storyline I think you'll appreciate quite a bit when it comes to fruition), and it's made me a little bit testy, to say the least, when things don't go exactly as we've planned them. While I stand by my original criticisms of the M7 beatdown, I shouldn't have resorted to personal attacks, especially seeing as most of them were invalid to begin with.

Thugg, I understand your take on things, and it's a reasonable one. While I don't want to get involved with the M7 anytime soon, I did intend to have SOME payback on Wilson's part, just not at this particular show. I was already in a bad mood when Thoth told me what Stardust wanted to do, hence the admittedly inflammatory "Hell no."

All that said, that last use of "Chrissy Stardust" dissipated the little residual flaming I had left, so now I will retreat to the Bat-Cave and construct a 4500-word wonder for Storm.

Damn, that almost sounded mature, didn't it? I really should fix that.

ALL YOUR INVOLVED STORYLINE ARE BELONG TO CLAN!

There.

You know what, apology accepted Silent, and I apologize to you. I can understand having a bad day and flying off the handle at the proposal of that. But the more I thought about the "hell no", it just made me mad. Natually, here and in real life, when someone tells me I can't do something, I generally try to do it in a way that will most piss them off.

Maybe I went a little wild, because I don't really know you, and maybe you aren't that bad of a guy as I've seen to got in my head. That's my fault for passing judgement before I really got to know you. Hell, maybe you'll turn out to be an egotistical bastard, or you could just be a really nice guy.

TNT, thanks for telling me to shut up. I probably needed that.

But this whole thing, and you can think I'm a bastard because I'm flaming and speaking my mind, but I'd rather have someone come right out and tell me what they thought, rather than put on a happy face, smile, then as soon as they turn around start talking about what a bastard they are and stuff.

Maybe you all look at it different, but now maybe me and Silent can co-exist a little better, simply because we vented. At least he told me his opinion, and I told him mine, other than just talking about it on IM or in the chat. Oh well, that's my preference. On to planning out a lovely match, then we got the future World Series champions, Da Braves, up against the Big Schill. A lovely evening ahead.

And on that lighter note, I'm off to watch Signs. Merry board-watching, people.

Oh, and Wilson?

I've ALWAYS admitted I'm an egotistical bastard...but I'm a charming, talkative one, I swear. Maybe I'll win on Storm and it'll make more sense then...

...on second thought, I work nights this week, so maybe not.

Meh!

I believe that is...

+1...or is it?

PS the show was good from what I read and Wilson's promo was Alirific. In a minute i'll have a new quote for my sig. Z does good stuff and that after promo was nice. Edwin even after the pit of death gets the win.

Niiiiiiiiiice now back comments about he whose name is that of solitary soundlessness i.e. and...what about Silent

"When Silent came to me complaining about this, I told him just to ignore the beatdown and move on with storylines as usual.

So just do that. No point in complaining.

If you want to be the focus of the top storyline in the fed Silent based on your friendship with the champion, get the stick out of your ass until you at least beat someone.

Good show. I liked it more than the last show for my money. Lots of interesting upsets and unexpected winners.
