Guest Kotzenjunge Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Dames, a few questions... Where'd you get that platinum chain with the diamonds in it? Where'd you get that matching Benz with them windows tinted? Who them girls you be when you be riding through? Who's your weed man, and how do you smoke so good? You's a superstar, boy! Why you still up in the hood? What in the world is in that bag, what you got in that bag? Hope you can answer these. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest evenflowDDT Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 His lyrics are done to shock, but he admits it on subsequent records. See, this is what I don't like about Eminem. He says all this super-offensive stuff that he DOESN'T EVEN MEAN, and he admits to saying SOLELY TO SELL RECORDS, and then he turns around and bitches for selling records and being a pop star? WTF?
The Dames Posted November 10, 2002 Author Report Posted November 10, 2002 But... but Without a Boy has Hugh Grant in it! Does he not draw enough for "mainstream" status anymore? It's a Hugh Grant movie....do you really think he's in high demand anymore? He hasn't drawn a dime since Notting Hill which was all Julia. Dames

He says all this super-offensive stuff that he DOESN'T EVEN MEAN, and he admits to saying SOLELY TO SELL RECORDS, and then he turns around and bitches for selling records and being a pop star? WTF? I don't think he does it solely to sell records, but just to get a reaction out of people, which in turn gains record sales. He doesn't bitch about selling records....but he bitches about how the media treats him and such when all he's saying is not to take him so seriously. There's a difference. As for being a pop star, most stars feel that fans can be annoying when they're trying to eat or simply use the bathroom and he's simply saying what most pop stars refuse to because they're afraid that it will alienate their fans. It has the opposite effect on his. Dames

Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge The only thing YOU need to know Spoony is that I've got my twin glock 40's......cocked back. Me and my homey's....so drop that. Dames
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Damn, yo. I just got one thing to say: "The royal penis is clean, your royal highness." "Thank you, KING SHIT." Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest MrRant Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Dames, how much does my sig own? I've seen a lot better. Dames How can you be so inpudent as to insult the sig that contains quotes from Blazing Saddles? Have you no taste? Are you just being a dick to me? Well?
Guest DrTom Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Eh. Blazing Saddles is funny, but it's not Mel Brooks' best work, and I've found it to be pretty overrated.
Guest Sassquatch Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Blazing Saddles is funny and no it is not his best work. But it's a good way to kill about two hours if you want. One of the most quotable movies of all time.
Guest MrRant Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 I personally like History of The World the best followed by Blazing Saddles, High Anxiety and then Spaceballs.
The Dames Posted November 10, 2002 Author Report Posted November 10, 2002 How can you be so inpudent as to insult the sig that contains quotes from Blazing Saddles? Have you no taste? Are you just being a dick to me? Well? I guess I have no taste.....no I'm not being a dick to you. I've just seen other sigs that make me laugh more than yours. Dames
Guest Texas Small Arms 09 Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 What do you think of the Toast in my sig?
Guest Kingpk Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Dames will always have a special place in his heart (or other places) for my sig, and he'll admit it.
Guest areacode212 Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Hey Dames, how come I always get the slow people on KaZaA? I'm friggin' college ethernet and I get downloads of like 2k/sec. Whasupwidat? Well...its not your fault everyone else sucks. But it IS your fault that what you're looking for isn't mainstream and found everywhere Dames But... but Without a Boy has Hugh Grant in it! Does he not draw enough for "mainstream" status anymore? Maybe if you searched for it using the correct name of the movie (About a Boy), you'd find someone with a better connection.
Guest Texas Small Arms 09 Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Dames will always have a special place in his heart (or other places) for my sig, and he'll admit it. The word DUH comes to my mind, but then again I like JLH as well
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Dames would I be correct in assuming that you got a job?
Guest Kinetic Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 I don't have a lot of time and I've been out of the loop for about a week and a half, so could someone--anyone--tell me what the deal with the WWE show on Tuesday is? I don't want to look around for it, but I would like to know. I'm sure you can appreciate that.
Guest AM The Kid Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 It has two matches, one taped after RAW and one after Smackdown...I cant remember what the matches are though.
Guest Kinetic Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 What's the point of airing it, though? Is there a purpose or are they just throwing it out there for the hell of it?
Guest AM The Kid Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Hell of it, plus we get to see the elimation chamber.
Guest areacode212 Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 The point is to hype Survivor Series.
Guest Kinetic Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Ah. I also don't feel like looking around for the consensus on Eddy-Angle from 2 weeks ago and Benoit/Angle-Edge/Mysterio from last week, so what did people think about them? I thought Eddy-Angle was kind of sloppy and not anywhere near what I expected. The tag match was good, if not a bit slow developing. Someone please validate my opinion.
Guest Incandenza Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 I've yet to watch my tape of last week's SD!, but I concur that Eddy/Angle was kinda dull.
Guest DrTom Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 I thought both matches were quite good (I'm pretty sure I scored them both as 8/10), but then again, I'm biased toward all the guys involved.

Maybe if you searched for it using the correct name of the movie (About a Boy), you'd find someone with a better connection. Hahahahaha.... whoops. I've been making so many typos and mishearings and misspeakings in the past couple of days I could give the President a run for his money. It's because I haven't had a lot of schoolwork and then all of a sudden I have 3 papers to write (I wrote 1! I wrote 1! Yay!), so all the brain juice has to go into that, which off-sets everythign else. Yea. I called "If I Ruled the World" "When I Ruled the World" on Socialist's Sanctuary a few days ago, that one made me feel so caucasian. Eww! Oh... question, hey Dames I have to write a paper on James Baldwin's The Fire Next Time. I already read it, but I don't remember any specific quotes. Do you know anywhere I could find a Cliff Notes-ish thing for it online? I was looking yesterday but didn't fine one.

The Dames Posted November 11, 2002 Author Report Posted November 11, 2002 What do you think of the Toast in my sig? It's cute. Dames
The Dames Posted November 11, 2002 Author Report Posted November 11, 2002 Dames will always have a special place in his heart (or other places) for my sig, and he'll admit it. He's 100% right about that. Where else (besides my hard drive) can you see gorgeous photos of JLH at your disposal? I think we should put our differences aside and combine forces to make sure Jessica Alba never goes over JLH again. JLH > Alba. Remember that. Dames
The Dames Posted November 11, 2002 Author Report Posted November 11, 2002 Dames would I be correct in assuming that you got a job? No, I've been concentrating more on finding employment though, as opposed to before. What made you assume otherwise? Dames
