Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Season 7

The show definatly could carry its own. Angel's a very interesting character, and they could do a TON of episodes on his past. But on Buffy they had the storyline to follow and you couldn't have one guy taking up the whole show. I think it was a very good move, really.

Yeah, it was a good move. From what I saw of Angel, I have only seen season 1. My favorite episode was "Five by Five" which just happened to have a Buffy character in it.

I like the eps with the Buffy cross over, they are just better to me.

I like Angel better than Buffy (the shows and the characters). I like the supporting cast on Buffy more than I like Wesley, Gunn, Fred and Cordy (Connor doesn't count as a character in my eyes, I hate him.) But I just think Angel is cooler overall.

Angel simply beats down Buffy seasons 5, 6 and what I've seen so far of seven, while being merely better than Buffy season 4. The first three seasons of Buffy are equally as awesome as Angel seasons 1-4. Thing is, Angel bothered to retain the idea of an interesting plot, which Buffy chucked out the window in Season 5. I have read some deeply cool spoilers for Buffy episode 18 in the current season, though. I'm talking major stuff. And season 7 is much better than season 6. So its all good.

Maybe it was one of oh god...what was the pig's name from Season 1? Maybe it was his offspring...

I really enjoyed that episode. Andrew is just too freakin' great this season. He had been sort of down playing the killing of Jonathan, so I'm glad he finally let his true emotions out. Showed how well this series can transition from comedy and drama all in a few scenes.

Notice the "Grr Argh" at the end?

Eer, I didn't really like the episode tonight. I don't really like Andrew, he is a tad annoying. I can stand him when his role is small, but have the whole show focused around him was pretty boring.

I too found this quite funny. Good comical filler ep to segue us into the big bash at the end.

It was a decient episode...almost seems like a cop out how they closed up the seal. Overall just kinda average, but this is a hard season to top.

I loved the flashbacks with Evil Willow...only how Andrew told them they were funny, and he had more power.

Next week is the Anya flashback episode, real good one. I think I'll watch it.

All bow before Andrew the Great!

Notice the framed Star Wars comic on the wall during the Masterpiece Theater intro? Hilarious.

I believe the pig was from earlier this season when the First, as Warren, tried to get Andrew to kill the piggie. It was too fast for him!

Andrew is one of the top characters of the season and, despite what is said in the show, I don't think for a second he's going to be killed off.

Oh, I could be wrong - but I think the footage of Evil Willow was spliced into the shots of Andrew and Warren. Same lines by Willow, same shots (as I remember). If it was spliced, great work and it just added to the humor.

It was Andrew and Jonathan...Warren had been good and dead by then. I love how he called her by the name "Evil Willow" though.

That ep was incredibly awesome. I mean, geez. I'm kinda suprised people didn't like it. The massive amount of in-jokes from previous seasons was great. The girl turning invisible, the wound-up guy's head exploding, the band taking over the school. God, that ep was great.

The footage from "Two To Go" was indeed spliced in. Awesome stuff.

*applause for Jane Espenson and crew*

Yep, I was apparently very tired when I wrote that.

Wow, I actually didn't hate Andrew with a blind rage in this episode. Not that I would have minded if Buffy killed him, but I didn't hate him as much.

Probably because some of that hate has to be transfered over to Xander and Anya sleeping together again.

I wonder why people hate Andrew so much. For those of you who do, did you hate the other two nerds also (Johnathan & Warren)?
