Guest fazzle Report post Posted February 26, 2003 I liked Jonathan, nerd, but disliked Jonathan, villian. I liked Warren, and thought he was a good villian, but Jonathan and Andrew drug him down too much.
Guest Mole Report post Posted February 26, 2003 It was a decient episode...almost seems like a cop out how they closed up the seal. Overall just kinda average, but this is a hard season to top. I loved the flashbacks with Evil Willow...only how Andrew told them they were funny, and he had more power. Next week is the Anya flashback episode, real good one. I think I'll watch it. Is this an old one? Or is it like the Spike/Angel flashbacks where they showed how they came to be? Because those ones were some of my favorite episodes, ever. Guest Mole Report post Posted February 27, 2003 I just watched "Restless" and it was a great episode. Joss made it just like a dream, with nothing making sense what so ever. And I loved the foreshadowing in it: when Tara said to Buffy "Just be back before Dawn"

And I loved the foreshadowing in it: when Tara said to Buffy "Just be back before Dawn" I saw it today as well. Loved the foreshadowing. "You have no idea what's coming." And Buffy and Tara seeing that it was 7:30 in the bedrom. "counting down from 7-3-0" - Faith in Graduation Day Part 2 ... also counts as 2 full years which is the time between that ep and when Buffy died When Doc looks at his watch in The Gift and says "Looks like it's getting to be that time." ... guess what time is shown on his watch? If the final ep has ANYTHING featuring 7:30, I'm going to flip out.

And Anya was in the other room using a spell to keep them safe? Only the way Andrew retold it he was deflecting her spells like a big shot and all...hard to explain, but funny. Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted February 27, 2003 ANOTHER THING! Last episode, when it was showing Andrew and Jon in Mexico waking up with the same nighmares and whatnot...did anyone else notice that The Cheese Man was there for a split second...all the images were put together pretty quick, would've been easy to miss. I then watched "Buffy vs Dracula", and when Dawn came, I was in confusion because I thought she wasn't around till season 5. I then went to Buffyguide.com, and everything was cleared for me. "Restless" might not of seen like a good final episode at the time, but it is defiently advancing the OVERALL storyline, which is great.

Guest Cavi Report post Posted February 27, 2003 The extremely quick shot of Cheese Man is right after the shot of the first Potential getting killed (in "Lessons"). They then cut to Ubervamp and then to another really quick shot of the cheese itself. Cheese Man is so The First. I just know it!
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted February 27, 2003 They have hinted that Xander's superpower is the power of sarcasm. First: I will destroy you all! Xander: Ooooh, that's SOOOOOO scary. Why don't you just say that you will tickle us all to death?

Yeah, he was the weak link there...not like he ever did anything. 2 Buffy reruns in a row...Next week is the history of Anya episode...and the one after that is "Him," the one where Dawn gets all lovestruck for the football player at school. I don't think I have seen "Him" so that will be new for me. "Selfless" I have seen, but I don't remember any of the Anya flashbacks. Are they just like the flashbacks that Angel and Spike had? Showing them back in the day, before they became vampires and after that?

Showing them back in the day, before they became vampires and after that? Si. It's also the episode with the best lines of the season. Olaf the Troll: "Stop! Stop! It is Olaf!" Villager #2: "The troll is doing an Olaf impersonation!" Olaf: "I am Olaf!" Villager #3: "Hit him with fruits and various meats!" D'Hoffryn: "The flaying of Warren Meers? Oh, truly inspired. That was water cooler vengeance. Lloyd has a sketch of it on his wall." Olaf: I've told you a thousand times, I have no interest in this Rannveig. Her hips are large and load-bearing, like a Baltic woman. Your hips are narrow, like a Baltic woman from a slightly more arid region.

JasonX 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2003 Hey, if Anya dies, does that mean Xander will finally unleash his very own superpower to destroy the first? With the show ending, Anya probably won't die, as Emma Caulfield has gone on the record as saying that season 7 was going to be her last, reguardless of whether or not the show got renewed and with the show ending, the writers have no real reason to give Emma an elaborate death to write her character out of the series.. As for Xander, given the spoilers that have hit the net for the final set of episodes Xander won't be in any position to give any real help in the final battle it doesn't look like... JasonX 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2003 Can someone tell me when Dawn became so useful? I missed about half a dozen eps. this season and am left in the dark about this... The writers have had her become the new Giles in that she's the one doing all of the research for the gang now that Giles is back in England...
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2003 I love the episode on FX right now......"The Replacement" This is a great episode. Giles: "Oh dear lord" (the gang keeps talking) Giles: "I said...oh dear lord!" Buffy: "You always say that" Giles: "and it's usually important"

Boooo you for your subtly-given spoilers jk lol I was reading the Buffy magazine back in December ($7 is too much to pay so I just read it at the newstand) and Anya said something to the effect of "I told Joss I don't want to die but he's going to do what he's going to do." Since they just learned fairly recently that this would be the final season - while Emma leaving was well known months ago - I would just assume she would be given a proper death scene to send her off.
