Since this is the last season, I hope that Willow and/or Xander goes on to Angel, if that show (hopefully) continues.

Series final is May 20th...so that means we have 6 hours left of Buffy, and 12 Tuesdays to go. And the next two shows are both reruns:(

Nooooo I just saw Riley in the previews for some Gweneth Paltrow movie.

Mmhmm, I think it's called "Paltrow & Mike Myers Go Slumming"

...Riley breaks up with Paltrow? BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Quick question to anyone who knows. Does FX have the rights to season 6? I have only seen season 6 reruns on UPN and season 5 is now half way through in the FX weekday routine.

I'm not sure as I taped most of Season 6 during the run on UPN. I think UPN has the rights to Season 6 for another year or so but don't quote me on that.

The only Season 6 episode FX does not have the right to show now is "Once More with Feeling"

FX has the right to show all the other episodes though.

OK two more questions then. Is that episode worth hunting down? And will it really screw up being able to follow storylines w/o seeing it?

That episode is the famous Musical episode and I would definitely find it if you can.

You can still watch the season without it, but there are some turning points in that episode that you might want to see. Like Buffy and Spike's first kiss.

Like Buffy and Spike's first kiss.

Well, actually she first kissed him in Intervention, when Glory's minions kinapped Spike, thinking he was the key, and Spike refused to tell her who the key really was.

But, still, yeah, OWMF was their first "important" kiss, and the one that started their abomination of a relationship.

If you go to www.fxnetworks.com, you can see their Buffy schedule for the next month. Season 6 will be starting on 3/14 @ 7pm (or if you miss it, 3/17 at 8am)

And....OMWF is scheduled to be shown on 3/20 at 6pm, and on 3/21 at 7am.

It sure sucks not to have cable.

The only other notable things in the musical is that Tara finds out that Willow used magic on her to make her forget an argument. And that Buffy relveals that she was in Heaven and not in hell when she died.

Actually, their first kiss was back in season four in "Something Blue" when Willow accidentally made them fall in love with each other. But, yes, that too meant nothing.

Yeah, but that wasn't really "them" so it doesn't count, and uh..

and, and and....yeah, ok, so I forgot about that one :)

Yeah I meant their first meaningful kiss that launched their crazy relationship.

I understand.

I'm still trying to decide which was worse about last season: the logistics of Buffy/Spike or the Willow addicted to magic storyline. I go back and forth.

Willow being addicted to magic was the worst of the two. Just because it was such a blatent representation of drug addiction that it was insulting... Then again, I never really bought/liked Witchy Willow in the first place.

Spike/Buffy wasn't so much insulting as it was just wrong for the show...

Was it really that bad? I thought the whole point of it was to put Buffy in a bad relationship. Not the Angel kind of bad relationship (which was kinda cartoony) but something a little more realistic. I mean, it showed how low Buffy had gone when Spike banged her in an alley on her break from the Doublemeat Palace. Not exactly what the Buffy we knew from Season 1 would have done, eh? I thought it was interesting.

Oh, I don't mind Addiction Willow. Think about the pay off - we got to see Evil Willow with the black hair and black eyes ... aaaahhhhhh ... Evil Willow ... :)

Buffy / Spike was disturbing at times. I had been watching Season 1 and 2 on FX ... turn on my first episode of 6, and there's Buffy having sex with Spike out in front of the damn fast food restaurant. "...When did she get her degree in whoring?"

I don't have a problem with the addiction to magic storyline. It seems to me that assuming that kind of stuff was possible, magic is something I could easily see someone getting addicted to as Willow did.

Despite what most people say (SMG included), I liked season 6. Much better than 4, IMO.

Nuts to that. Season 6 was just a bad year, and as one of the few supporters of 4 I say they're not even in the same league.

I agree that they aren't in the same league.

Season 4 was terrible...whereas season 6 is underappreciated and misunderstood.

Don't you get me started too...

Season 6 had the musical and a strong finish...other then that it's very average.
