Guest Mole Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Today's episode was good, even though a repeat, it proves how strong this season really it. I like the UperVamp much more than Caleb. I guess that is because we know more about the Up, I guess.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 23, 2003 bah "ubervamp" was lame. He was a weak retread of the master and got his ass kicked rather easily when you consider everything.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Caleb rules all. How fitting is it that the final villain on a show that created it's own mythology...yet avoided the topic of the existence of a God altogether...would be a religious woman hater...on a show that is often labeled as feminist? Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted April 23, 2003 FINALLY! I saw the Uber-vamp episode. I am almost fully caught up. Man, a LOT of pieces were put together with THAT show and totally makes this season 'click'. Good stuff. BPS - that isn't fitting at all... which I suppose fits in a show that doesn't fit. Guest Cavi Report post Posted April 23, 2003 I didn't like the Ubervamp that much either. His design wasn't that great. I remember when he first appeared and I was all "Well, he sure looks dumb." Though I will say again, like I did months ago when tonight's ep first aired, that jumping off the wall spinning kick he gave to Buffy was badass.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Ubervamp kinda looked like someone sired Robin Hood and deformed him. I kept expecting his band of merry vamps to come to his rescue.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted April 23, 2003 It wasn't very original and pretty goofy. I mean, if you've seen one star trek eps. you've probably seen that face somewhere in it.
Guest Sakura Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Ubervamp looks like a messed up Baraka in rags. I marked out for him Tao Feng-ing Buffy though.
Guest Mole Report post Posted April 23, 2003 bah "ubervamp" was lame. He was a weak retread of the master and got his ass kicked rather easily when you consider everything. Well, the Master was around for a long time, I don't know how old he was. The Ubervamp was just as old, so it would make sense that those two looked alike. I am still on the ropes about Caleb, once I leran more about him, then I might like him. He is a badass, and it is ALWAYS good to see Buffy get her ass beat. Guest fazzle Report post Posted April 23, 2003 It didn't help that the Ubervamp was like 4 feet tall either.

Ok, so I just saw Robin Hood: Men in Tights the other day, and after reading that comment I pictured a group of UberVamps doing the "Men in Tights" musical number...and fell of my cahir laughing. Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted April 24, 2003 I was watching the eps. where Jonathan became the most popular/coolest guy and I am thinkin "gee, I've seen this somewhere before" - and then I watch Angel 5 minutes later...

"Superstar"...great episode. I think the best part is that they worked multiple Jonathan shots into the opening theme

Guest Lil Naitch Report post Posted April 25, 2003 So I FINALLY finished downloading "Dirty Girls," and I got to say I loved it. Caleb was nothing like I pictured (never saw Firefly, didn't know what he looked like) and I got to say the small, Southern-boy preacher gimmick just WORKED. The way he killed 2 potentials without any effort (along with the way he handled Buffy and Spike) was just awsome, I loved how he threw in those non-chalante quips. And poor Xander! Damn, that was cold. Now I'm looking forward to the final episodes. Ironic note: Xander was saved by Spike, probably the one person he hates the most. Hows that for a twist of fate? Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted April 26, 2003 This is just a bump in disguise. 4 straight weeks of Buffy starting this Tuesday, then it's all over. Preview for the next two episodes. April 29th, 2003 Buffy the Vampire Slayer Empty Places Spoiler (Highlight to Read): As Sunnydale's residents evacuate en masse, Faith rallies the demoralized potentials while an emotionally fragile Buffy endures another run-in with Caleb. May 6th, 2003 Buffy the Vampire Slayer Touched Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Faith restores calm to the rattled Potentials after the power goes out in Sunnydale; Buffy confides her insecurities to Spike; the Scoobies interrogate a captured Bringer. It is strange that it's coming to an end. I have a feeling the finale will be great.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted April 26, 2003 Yeah, I think by now Joss has managed to work up something good that should please most Buffy fans. They're showing an episode on my Fox station now, debut of Glory. Buffy: "You better tell me what you're doing out here in 5 words or less right now!" Spike: "Out-For-A-Stroll...bitch." good stuff. Spike was just great in season 5.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted April 27, 2003 I was just on Kazaa goofing around and I typed in "Buffy empty places"...and a file came up, about 70,000+ Kb, it appears to be the whole episode. If I had cable I would check for myself to see if it's the real thing. Sometimes episode leak there first. But I'm only on 56K, so by the time it finished it would air already, plus I gotta tape it anyway.
Guest fazzle Report post Posted April 27, 2003 good stuff. Spike was just great in season 5. Pffft, season 5 Spike can't even hold a candle to season 2.

I did pop when Spike got out of the wheelchair at the end of "I Only Have Eyes For You." Spike season 2 was evil...but Spike season 5 was a funny bastard. Guest Cavi Report post Posted April 27, 2003 I always get a laugh when Angel mocks Spike in Season Two: "Don't worry, rollerboy." "Keep out of it, sit 'n spin."
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted April 27, 2003 Also said "I'm sure you're hell on wheels" and made a reference to bringing Spike if they needed handicap parking

I found it and downloaded, but it ended up being the episode from earlier this season with Andrew and his camera, whatever it was called. And even then, the video stream stopped for me something like two seconds into the 'Previously' segment.
