What's wrong with Out of Sight, Out of Mind?

 

IMO it's one of the better season 1 episode.

Where Buffy and the Legion of Dim are all turned invisible, and we get a fight scene where we see absolutely NOTHING.

I've always found Monster of the Week episodes to be fairly week. Add that to the camp factor that Season 1 had, along with the cheesy ending and I just don't care for it at all.

Yeah, but Clea DuVall's performance as Marcie made it good. I could easily see it being cheesy, but I like it.

I've liked Clea Duvall for quite a while and she did do the best she could with the role...but she WAS invisible for most of it.

Yeah, but that's what made it..well..watchable at least. She did a damn good job with the role she had.

 

Unlike SMG in Gone, where she obviously phoned it in...and it sounded like it was actually FROM a damn phone. Seriously, it didn't sound like she was in the scenes with people, it just sounded like a bad voiceover.

Nope, thought it was horrible. It took enough just to finish watching it once.

 

The horrible voiceovers, the non-existant fight scene, and the fact that Buffy was acting just so out of character. "So long copper?" Acting like the fashion police to random people? (Because it's not like Buffy hasn't worn about 80 outfits on this show that make the eyes bleed.) Did the inviso ray also take 10 years off her maturity level?

yeah being invisible does things to ya though. Not that I would know, but if I were invisible I'd totally be immature.

But one of the main themes behind the show is Buffy's responsibility with her powers. She CAN go beat the shit out of random people if she wants, but doesn't. So why would she go around and be irresponsible with invisibility?

Cause it was a feeling she never had before. She didn't beat anyone up. Plus that whole season her life was one screwed up mess. She saw it as one big release.
