Guest Banky Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Fuck no, I am in next. Its a given. Fletch is Established.~
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Fletch is too arrogant. I refuse to vote for him. Nothing short of $500,000 and/or my own private jet would get me to change my mind.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I thought you said you didn't want in Fletch?
Guest Banky Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Fletch is too arrogant. I refuse to vote for him. Nothing short of $500,000 and/or my own private jet would get me to change my mind. Arrogant? How come being truthful is always being construed as me being arrogant? Fuckers, fuck you and your double standards. I don't know how well my "own thing" will go, so we'll see CWM, we'll hafta see.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Okay Fletch. Then I'll still be voting for you.
Guest Angle-plex Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 So what's the deal with this new Fletch movie anyways? All I know is that Jason Lee will be in it. Jason Lee + Fletch = Ratings, In my opinion.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 ...fuck you and your double standards. It's what we stand for.
Guest Sassquatch Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I thought you all stood for the Kylie Minogue-ization of the Smarts board? Or maybe it was just Kotz... Hmmm.
Guest Flyboy Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Adam West "The Most Dangerous Game" In the short story “The Most Dangerous Game” Rainsford gets stranded on an island with Zaroff (a hunter that hunt humans). Rainsford and Zaroff seemingly have similar interest, knowledge, but different attitudes. Between the dialogue carried on with Rainsford and Zaroff, it is easy to tell that both men enjoy hunting. Each man has a passion for hunting although their prey might not be the same. Both men have an establishment of money for them to hunt when they want to. Knowledge is a key factor in hunting as seen when Zaroff is hunting Rainsford. To be a hunter, one assumes that extensive intelligence is needed in the art of hunting. When Rainsford and Zaroff are talking over dinner, they talk about all their knowledge in the game of hunting. The two hunters show a distinct difference in their attitudes. While Rainsford likes to hunt animals, Zaroff hunts people. Zaroff values his life over anyone’s. Many people would think Zaroff is cruel for what he does. On the otherhand, although Rainsford hunts animals he does not stoop low enough to hunt and kill people just because hunting is not “fun” to him anymore. At the end, Zaroff finally gets his due as Rainsford beats him in his own game of hunting. (I did it... for the Establishment!) Please tell me this was a parody, not what you really turned in. Nope. Got an A on it, too. Go figure.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 American Schools suck.
Guest Sassquatch Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 You suck CWM for not putting me in the Smarts Survivor line-up. Look how upset I am now... Oh well, as long as the Angels pound the shit out of the Giants again, I'll be fine.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Sorry Sass. Next time you'll be on.
Guest Sassquatch Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 It's cool CWM. Besides, I'm not ESTABLISHED~! to probably make it past round 2.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Bah. You could out last alot of the people.
Guest Incandenza Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Leena apparently finds us offensive.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Leena needs to learn to take a joke.
Guest Sassquatch Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I don't know... The Angle supporters are a tough crowd to break. I also doubt that a lot of people even know who I am due to my dedication to "the place that no get's no love" the Comic Books folder which really only has 5 regular posters that come in and post. *looks at competetion* Now that I think about it, I would have had a pretty good shot.
Guest Incandenza Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I'm assuming it was this that pissed her off. Scroll down to the last post on the page and continue from there.
Guest Sassquatch Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 That was a pretty harsh comment by godthedog to Leena. But if you are going to put yourself out there like she did with that thread, be prepared for some possible criticism/flaming from others.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Yeah but she overreacted.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Spiff will NEVER be established if I hear something like that again. Hey, 11/4/02 decides that.
Guest Flyboy Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Spiff will NEVER be established if I hear something like that again. Hey, 11/4/02 decides that. Damn, Spiff... got the date memorized? Maybe you DO want to be Established.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Got a calendar right next to me. The date is the Dolphins/Packers game, w/ "butter face" on the line (Dolphins win - it goes in Kotz's title, Pack wins - I can't use the term again in reference to Kylie)
Guest Sassquatch Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I sure am going to miss your butter face comments Spiff.
Guest Sassquatch Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Indeed I am. Sherman > Whinestedt

Guest Midnight Express83 Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 "Most Dangerous Game" was ok. But was too easy of a read. I had it done an in hour. It was good once it got to the hunt. The order parts are just stupid. I never read the hobbit. But alot of people hated it. It would be better if they had people read Fellowship of the Ring. Since that one kicked ass.
