Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 It doesn't matter now. What's done is done. (not you, though) Is that why you're secretly plotting my departure from the group? That's right. I know everything. In all seriousness, he's probably talking about myself, and some other guy(s).
Guest Incandenza Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 You really need to work on your self-esteem problems, Big.
Guest Flyboy Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 No, he doesn't. If he did, he wouldn't be as funny. Just for the Establishment I will post a paper I did for English... uh huh.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 That's it! *throws whatever he's holding to the ground* It's time to throw down!
Guest treble charged Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I'd somehow doubt that he would want to cut Flyboy, anyway, as it's obvious that everyone voted for him to get in in the first place (6 original members, 6 votes). There were obviously some people who didn't vote for me (and I think it's rather obvious who some of them were).
Guest Flyboy Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 There were obviously some people who didn't vote for me (and I think it's rather obvious who some of them were). It doesn't matter. As long as you're Established, now.
Guest Flyboy Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Adam West "The Most Dangerous Game" In the short story “The Most Dangerous Game” Rainsford gets stranded on an island with Zaroff (a hunter that hunt humans). Rainsford and Zaroff seemingly have similar interest, knowledge, but different attitudes. Between the dialogue carried on with Rainsford and Zaroff, it is easy to tell that both men enjoy hunting. Each man has a passion for hunting although their prey might not be the same. Both men have an establishment of money for them to hunt when they want to. Knowledge is a key factor in hunting as seen when Zaroff is hunting Rainsford. To be a hunter, one assumes that extensive intelligence is needed in the art of hunting. When Rainsford and Zaroff are talking over dinner, they talk about all their knowledge in the game of hunting. The two hunters show a distinct difference in their attitudes. While Rainsford likes to hunt animals, Zaroff hunts people. Zaroff values his life over anyone’s. Many people would think Zaroff is cruel for what he does. On the otherhand, although Rainsford hunts animals he does not stoop low enough to hunt and kill people just because hunting is not “fun” to him anymore. At the end, Zaroff finally gets his due as Rainsford beats him in his own game of hunting. (I did it... for the Establishment!)
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Seriously, you'd have been like Evenflow, voted in most likely on the first or second week. Loose Cannon will be voted in eventually himself too. Maybe not on one of the first ballots, but he will make it in I'm sure. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest LooseCannon Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Loose Cannon will be voted in eventually himself too. Maybe not on one of the first ballots, but he will make it in I'm sure. I like to pretend that if my prescence hadn't been so sketchy lately, I would have a better shot.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I like to pretend that if I'm prescence hadn't been so sketchy lately, I would have a better shot. As do I. And 6 is just a plain odd number. 10 would've been better for the first.

Guest Just call me Dan Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Yeah, reading this made me realize that you guys could actually have something here. It is pretty cool to be considered as one of the few elite on the board and those who have been here a while and are recognizable. I could have been established, but my lack of a computer and time kept me away from the board. I like to think I'm well known, but it seems just about everoyne in the established group probably hasn't had the chance to converse with me often. Leave me off the ballots for next week because if I ever work my way in, it'll mean this group stayed around long enough to mean something and that I wasn't just thrown a bone and I got in.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Dan...Stunner just made one hell of a majorly cool post. I gotta praise that.
Guest LooseCannon Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Am I the one that some of you wanted to cut? Your need to ask is unbecoming of an established poster. Big and Flyboy have already played the insecure gimmick. You guys need to put on an arrogant front, not act all worried that less established posters like myself might think you don't belong in such an elite group.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I was joking. Without me there IS NO Establishment! I am the glue that holds the group together! Not to mention the only one who can get Anglesault to stop whining.
Guest Weesel Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 A bunch of fuckin dorks that can't get acceptance in real life. Please boys, don't go on any shooting sprees!!!!
Guest LooseCannon Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Hey good one, weesel. You're funny.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Well he's going to be banned in a minute or too.
Guest Weesel Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Well he's going to be banned in a minute or too. You mean two. Damn for an established post I figured you could spell. You guys are a bunch of pathetic losers!
Guest Just call me Dan Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Alright Fletch, your cyncism isn't usually without warrant, so what did I say that makes you so indiiferent? Sounds like I'm just kissing ass? Well, I would have gone that route, but screw it. I don't think the establishment is ghey nor am I jealous of anything. Basically, I'm saying that I'm not going to beg into it because that's meaningless. You may see it all as a big joke, but I think it is kind of cool. As much as I like this board, I think it's cool to be recognized by most because you conttribute to it. If you have to laugh about that, than go ahead, but I think you're being unfair.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Dan cool it. It's Fletch, he makes fun of everything.
