People do it to see how many people reply to it to boost their sense of self-worth...and then come back a week later.

 

All that asking to have your account deleted does is bring you attention...attention you obviously crave, otherwise, you'd have gone past the 3rd grader mentality and just left the board.

 

That's something a lot of people could learn from. Don't make a big deal out of leaving a message board; it's a message board. Just stop posting, stop visiting, and do something else with your time. I heard those book things are a decent time passer.
