For some reason, I see him coming in as a badass face, probably to recapture the "Austin demographic". Though Scotty won't be as entertaining on the mic.

Hey...I know.

Instead of replacing the wrestlers...why don't they replace the writers?

scotty makes his debut, grabs a mic, calls hhh a jealous old bastard, and is promptly fired.

Scott Steiner comes out, spits water and poses, says "Bitches" and "Hootchies" and then says that Stephanie McMahon is the hottest piece of ass in wrestling...gets his title shot for sucking up...

Vince McMahon:"OK team, on this week's RAW, after we reveal that Katie Vick's family commited mass suicide after witnessing last week's video, and Triple H cuts a promo on them, I want Scott Steiner to show up and cut him off. Write him up a really intense promo!"

Scott Steiner comes out and recites the planned promo, which includes the word "shit".

Vince:Damn you Steiner, that's offensive! You're fired!"

Note:Please take the suicide comment as nothing more than a joke at how low WWE will stoop.

Well Scott can't be any worse than the WWE's current crop of main eventers, and i always liked him in WCW so i'll give this a chance to see how it works out.

However Steiner will probably just become HHH's bitch and play some part in the ridiculous Katie Vick storyline, before getting injured again.

what was the name of that Steiner Suplex that Scott used in WCW? was it the Screwdriver or something similiar?

so will Big Pappa Pump be the new 3 Minute Man, cause you know that the Island Boys time is up.

Yeah, the Steiner Screwdriver.

I gave a few of my CAW's in the past that move as their finisher.

Oh man.

I'm finding hard to beleive how little into this I am.

Call me crazy...but when things start falling apart I tend to think adding WCW talent is just throwing gas on the fire.

Whats wrong with all of you? You are already running down the guy before he debuts. Quite being so cynical about everything.

If it was a decade or so ago right now when Scotty was a god in the ring, I'd care.

However...how he's a nearly immobile roided up freak who wrestles really shitty.

Pros and cons now...

Pros:

-He may be back to fine form.

-He may shoot and injury HGH.

-He will, if nothing else, allow for some interesting backstage stories, and heaven knows that necrophilia jokes are beginning to lose their luster.

-He should be on Raw, in which case--who cares?

Cons:

-He'll be pushed ahead of any deserving midcarders about to break through.

-He may shoot and injure someone--expect him to have a program with RVD or Jericho, or one of the Trinity before main eventing.

-His matches will likely be uber-shitty.

-He will cut lots of promos. BPP promos.

We're doomed...

I'm happy for two reasons:

1) I'm always intrigued when they sign a big name who hasn't been seen in awhile. Now, I don't mean like at NWO 2002, but as long as they were WCW-only(mostly) like DDp, Steiner, or Booker, it brings back good memories of great undercard action... being buried by five of the previous six guys I mentioned. That's neither here nor there, and this should still inject some new life into the product, at least for the short term.

2) As for the long term, this will probably fuck them over. Scott Steiner can't work, and is therefore the opposite of what the WWF needs to do to get back on top. That means that they will fail, and being the odd son of a bitch that I am, to witness this would entertain me more than anyhing they've done within the past two years.

goldberg and vince will play hard to get with each other until there's no longer any semblance of a market left at all and then think ... oh.

I am thrilled, period. I love the guy, always have, and find him entertaining as hell, not matter what any of you think. His promos are some of the best I've ever heard, especially when he goes off on the fans, hehheheheh. He isn't a great in ring worker, but he can be a huge asset, if used the right way.

I'd much prefer Scott Steiner over HHH, Taker, Kane, among others. Steiner CAN wrestle, indeed, so he HAS the skill, it just depends on if they allow him to use it. Anyhow, I'm very pleases with this. I mean, really...

...at least it something new, ya know? ANYTHING to get out of this feeling of the same ol' we have right now, on RAW at least. I can't wait to see the guy again, I will say it...

...he is one of my favorites, of all time.
