Guest Vern Gagne Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 It's got to be either Colonel Samuels or the 7th Coral Snake guy.... Everyone I know got teary eyed this ep. George went down like a fuckin champ too. Dames I was crying when Jack was talking to Kim on the phone, and when George took the plane down. My guess the voice on the phone will be a pretty famous actor. Dennis Hopper was a guest star last season, and he has worked with Keither Southerland in the past. Any other former Sutherland co-stars who could play the role.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 What happened to Bob Warner? Could it be Bob? He could have created the Sayhed Ali conversations.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Dammit! I thought I had it. I guess it's probably Col. Samuels. It'd better not be Woody Harrelson, 'cause if it is...::shakes fist::
Guest Vern Gagne Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 So is it Ali or the 3 countries who aren't involved in the plot.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Well The Voice said that the conversations are faked, for whatever reason. So, Ali was probably on his own.
Guest Spicy McHaggis Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Kim did the smartest thing she's done ALL day. My take is Germany is behind it all (this comes from last season). Remember last year when they played on our assumptions of racism? I think they're doing the same thing with fear of Arab terrorism. The plot may circle around to a German insider in the gov't and Nina will come back in the picture. RIP George Mason, American Hero.
Guest TUS_02 Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Nina HAS to come back... she didn't leave in a blaze of glory like most others. SHe's probably going to help Bauer though...
Guest The Tino Standard Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 One thing annoyed me last night... Why did they have to fly the bomb out so far into the middle of nowhere to keep everyone safe, yet Jack could jump out 4 minutes before the blowup and be just fine? I know George was taking the plane down into a certain spot, but that still seems like a reach.
Guest the pinjockey Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 Yeah I was a little off when they mentioned he would leave at 4 minutes but once the scene came around I found myself not caring.
Guest EQ Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 Personally, I found it hard to believe that George was able to board the plane and stay there without Jack knowing. And yeah, the 4-minute thing got to me too, but I just figured... "you know what, I don't know anything about how that shit (radiation) works, so fuck it"
Guest packwingfn Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 well its tv and tv shows have their special ways Man what a show...
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 The three nations...Germany, France & Russia.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 I think the radiation thing was solved because he crouched behind a rock. He's killing Nina. Mark my words. If he sees her, she's dead.
Urban Warfare Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 ya about that..how in the hell would jack survive what with the radiation..
Guest Dangerous A Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 Did everyone here know that Nina and Mason are married in real life?
Guest MaxPower27 Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 Yeah. Sarah Clarke is hot in a way that I can't describe. Maybe the "Turn my back on her and she'll probably kil me" sort of way...
Guest Dangerous A Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 I don't know what it is about Sarah Clarke aka Nina either, but something about her gives me the impression she is a tigress in the sack.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 What is George Mason's real name. Do you think the writers have the entire season figured out in advance or do they not know what the final outcome will be.
Guest Choken One Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 They likely have PAGES OF ALTERNATIVES...And they likely plot half a day in one full setting...and see how it plays out...
The Dames Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 He plays John Connor's foster father in T2....I didn't notice until I went back and watched it. Dames
Guest starvenger Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 They likely have PAGES OF ALTERNATIVES...And they likely plot half a day in one full setting...and see how it plays out... More than likely. Teri Bauer getting killed was one of a few endings that they shot last year...
Guest MaxPower27 Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 I'm glad they went with that ending too. If they had used the alternate that's on the DVD, I would have been seriously pissed off.
The Dames Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 (edited) FYI, the others were Teri getting shot but surviving and she was unharmed in another, which is shown on the Season 1 DVD. Dames Edited March 6, 2003 by The Dames
Guest Spicy McHaggis Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 They likely have PAGES OF ALTERNATIVES...And they likely plot half a day in one full setting...and see how it plays out... See, this is how you write a storyline (WWE, I'm lookin at you).
Guest areacode212 Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 What is George Mason's real name. Do you think the writers have the entire season figured out in advance or do they not know what the final outcome will be. For this season, they probably thought up most of the arc in advance, with some alternatives planned out. I'm sure they're making changes here & there as the season progresses. Kief injured himself on the set a few months ago, so they probably had to work around that somehow. At the beginning of last season, they didn't know whether they'd be on for the full year, so they only planned out the first 12 hours or so.
Guest Luke Cage Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 He plays John Connor's foster father in T2....I didn't notice until I went back and watched it. Dames Mr. Berkeley has been in a TON of cool movies...Never noticed him until his recent turn on 24. Now when I see these flicks I point at the screen and yell "Hey, it's the guy from 24!" He was the traitorous secret service man from Air Force One He played the lead female's hubby in Candyman He was a cop in The Grifters I recently saw him playing a drug dealer in Sid and Nancy That's just a few I can recall off the top of my head...gotta be more.
