Guest Cataclysm911 Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 It was a famous song. Used to get a lot of air time on MTV. Think 80's. It has a black haired man sitting by himself in a room full of stuffed animals and the like. He had on sunglasses, and the animals and stuff in the room were moving while he was singing. Almost like they were dancing. Anyone remember?
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 HA HA!!!!!! George Harrison - "Got My Mind Set on You" Turns out he didn't have sunglasses afterall.
Guest Nevermortal Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 Its gonna take money....a whole lotta spendin' money....
Guest Youth N Asia Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 Its gonna take money....a whole lotta spendin' money.... Oh, to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it right Video kicks ass, the squirl playing the pipe as a sax is great. And George claims that he actually did that backflip. And another thing...How can you not know George Harrion when you see him?
Guest Incandenza Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 In terms of which ex-Beatle produced the highest quality solo work, there's little argument that John Lennon would rank first. I think George Harrison makes a strong second (and what I've heard off the Brainwashed disc ain't bad at all), but what about third and fourth? Ringo Starr has produced the most obscure (re: extremely unpopular) solo stuff, and while Paul McCartney is certainly the most high profile, he's also very, very bad. So, complete the list: 1. John Lennon 2. George Harrison 3. 4.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 Yeah, I thought that George was the coolest of the Beatles. Dunno why, just did...
Guest DARRYLXWF Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 I thought John was the coolest, and I used to like Paul until he cancelled his Melbourne, Australia concert because it "wasn't the right time to play rock and roll after the tragic Bali Bombings in which so many Australians were hurt". Yeah, and how many tickets had you sold there Paul? About 15,000 out of a 65,000 seat arena?
