Thanks, props, and salutations to those who voted for me. ME, the only person to seriously challenge Dames in the Best Writer category, AND the only person to have his hand in three -- count 'em! Three! -- articles in the Article of the Year category.

 

And Kinetic, you did a smashing job on your send-up of how I write. Though I could never say something like "trophy-polishing" with a straight face (especially when inviting others to engage in it), that was the most I'd laughed at an article on the internet in a long time. Hella good job, old bean.
