JasonX Posted March 26, 2003 Report Posted March 26, 2003 Any luck at getting a TV deal? My created company recently rose to global level and we're still having to cope with one PPV a month. Which makes booking easier and has honestly somewhat gotten me back into the game. But I keep getting rejected! Even by Fox and Comedy Central! *sobs* Got a link to download the game at?
Guest SP-1 Posted March 26, 2003 Report Posted March 26, 2003 There should be one towards the beginning of the thread.

What you might need to do is lower your risk level below the TV networks minimum to get the other show. Once you've done that, bump it up to the maximum you can get away with that might help.
Guest El Satanico Posted March 26, 2003 Report Posted March 26, 2003 I just left my created WCW which was going great and had some great talent. I was offered a job with RoH and accepted it. RoH is now a National company with a 17 Public Rating and 20 mill in money and a local TV show.

I just started up my new company ICW (International Championship Wrestling). It's a backyard fed with 0 PI. Currently, I've only got a single star (being my created unsackable dude, pretty good stats). Hopefully everything goes well. But it's great to hear how good you've done in both positions. Guest El Satanico Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 I went from these title feuds... WCW World: Chris Jericho vs. Shark Boy United States: RVD vs. Christopher Daniels Television: Steve Austin vs. Stevie Fabulous Cruiserweight: Juvi vs. Ultimo Dragon To these title feuds... RoH World: Syxx vs. Konnan Junior Heavyweight: Psicosis vs. Low Ki North American: Gedo vs. Dan Severn Yes that's right, Konnan vs. X-Pac is my top feud.

Guest El Satanico Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 Well Konnan and Waltman are both mid 80's overness, so it's not that bad. Still...
Guest SP-1 Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 I had a guy break his leg. That's not so bad. What's bad is that it's keeping him out FOR A YEAR.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 I had a guy break his leg. That's not so bad. What's bad is that it's keeping him out FOR A YEAR. Meh... I had a scenario where a dude got injuried and he's out for a year as well. He's also one of my top stars.
Guest SP-1 Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 My World Champion had a back injury and was out for two months. During those two months, the company image and popularity fell. I had no idea one person could have that effect. At least, it appears that way.

I had no idea one person could have that effect. At least, it appears that way. It can happen. Yet, I'm thankful that my unsackable wrestler, Damien Bristol (he's the brother of the owner) is still there. I'd hate myself if I lost my best wrestler. Since he's the only thing that's building my backyard fed right now.
Guest ShooterJay Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 This is interesting. As TNA, I lost Ron Killings (my world champion) to a 2 month Damaged Hand injury, so I had to strip him of the title and give it to AJ Styles in the middle of their feud. (In the meantime, I signed Sting and Randy Savage to one-shots and had Styles squash them.) -Killings' morale immediately dropped 80 points, and now he wants to leave.

If it falls further, you JUST got screwed. Sorry buddy but if it starts diving (the morale), you'll probably never get anything out of him.
Guest El Satanico Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 For a short injury, it's better to keep the belt on him then risk destroying his morale. You better hope it doesn't drop to zero before he can return. Most guys will refuse to wrestle when the morale gets to zero.
Guest treble charged Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 I had Killings at 0 morale early in my game, when he was my champ, but he never refused to work (I had that problem with Kid Kash when he was my X Champ, though). All I did was have Killings squash lesser guys, give him lots of interviews to help get him over more, and eventually he was ok. I also lost one of my top guys (Juvi) for 16 months to a knee injury caused by a sick bump. I'm going to lay off doing those for a while.

Damn, I could've kept up my feud between Jonny C and Damien for 12 months.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 Ok. I just had the weirdest thing happen to me. So like I lost Jonny C for 12 months due to his neck being injuried. However I'm only like 1/3 of the way through that, but lo' and behold, Jonny C is fully recovered. Like seriously, he's ready to go once again.
Guest bob_barron Posted March 29, 2003 Report Posted March 29, 2003 The bugs in the game are really pissing me off. Is there anyway to make sure these don't happen?
Guest Lightning Flik Posted March 30, 2003 Report Posted March 30, 2003 The bugs in the game are really pissing me off. Is there anyway to make sure these don't happen? Nope. No sured thing. Oh, and Jonny C left me. The bastard was doing great in my fed and loved me to death (had 100 in att and beh)... Stupid bugger still left me. ...what's worse is because I was fiddling around with my EWR files (trying to get the SWF vs OAOAST ones to work, except with all the other feds in them as well), I lost ICW and XCW. My two feds I was doing so well with. ARGH~! Looks like I'm back to the drawing board again.
