Idea for a New member of Team Angle

I know alot of us have been speculating as to whether or not a new member of Team Angle will be announced. Guesses have ranged from the good (Mattitude)to the very, very, very bad (Albert). But I have an idea. What about Rhyno? he has history with Heyman, and he was very over. Plus, he'd make an awesome enforcer for Angle, and I have always liked his matches.

No. Rhyno is primed and ready for a face run now, I'd love to see Rhyno go against Angle after WM.

As good as Rhyno would be in Team Angle....Raw needs him more.

I'd rather see more workers with previous amateur backgrounds join. Rhyno should go out on a one-man killing spree, build him up as a lone wolf badass.

Would be good if they weren't already doing that with Batista. And Bill DeMott, for that matter.

 

I'd like to see Rhyno on Smackdown because I think he could work some interesting matches with guys like Benoit and Eddy, seeing as he's probably the most mobile power wrestler on the roster. He's going to come back as a huge face, though--he's been gone for a year, and as soon as he levels someone with the Gore, he's going to be top-tier.

 

He probably would help Raw more as an instantly credible face for the upper midcard/main, but I'd obviously like him to go Thursday so I only have to watch one show.

Does Rhyno have an amateur wrestling background? Would he look good in red, white, and blue? Does he have a similar character to Angle/Team Angle?

I could see him in Heyman's family, but not as a member of Team Angle. He doesn't seem to fit in with them at all.

If someone has to join then yes I agree an amateur background would be beneficial and I don't think Rhyno fits the image so to speak, but if we are ignoring the amateur background and going for an enforcer then I'd suggest Mark Henry *ducks* simply because he wouldn't need to wrestle and it gives him something to do seeing as they won't buy out his contract

Yes he's Mark Henry and yes he's useless in ring but Vince is paying the guy a lot of money so he may as well do something with him, this would make sense, no wrestling involved except running interferance which would be perfectly believable for a man his size and as an onscreen comedy character cast your eye back to late 1998 and you'll realize Henry has got some use

Rhyno has an amateur background. Not college wrestling, but high school wrestling.

 

I would dig seeing him as the psychotic enforcer of Team Angle. Have him snap on random people, including members of Team Angle.

 

I hope that Rhyno goes on Smackdown, because I think that Tazzzzzzzzzzz would do a better "GORE!GORE!GORE!" than Lawler.

Team Angle isn't a true stable though, and Rhyno wouldn't fit in with the amateur wrestling theme.

And your basis for that is?? I like Rhyno too, but saying that he's better than Brock is questionable. Because he's had some good hardcore matches (Raven, etc.) doesn't mean he's better than Brock.

 

By the way, when Brock is a power wrestler who doesn't talk, you think he's boring and not worth crap. When Rhyno is a power wrestler who can't talk (apart from cursing and breathing like an obscene phone caller) he's BETTER? Not to start any war, but what makes Rhyno so much better?
