Guest tank_abbott Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 IOW CarrolL: I heard a bit of wrestling news from a source that might interest you. ScotsmanWU: Sure. IOW CarrolL: This is absolutley, no-one-else-has-it and you have to wait until Sunday to put it up. And I need to get a position on TheSmarks site. It's the real deal, it's worth it. Goldberg and Hogan are both signed, and so are two other wrestlers I'm not telling you about until we make a "deal". IOW CarrolL: This is coming from Travis Beaven, who works in Hollywood with Shane McMahon. Trust me, it's real. I can't tell you the other two, though. IOW CarrolL: Don't use Travis' name, though. ScotsmanWU: I wont tell a soul :-) IOW CarrolL: Anyway, the other two guys- Austin is signed and he may come back on this week's RAW. Bret Hart is signed to a 2-night deal and he will be at the RAW Annivesery Special. That's why there were WWF-era pictures up on his site (down right now for some reason)- he gets access to the video libraries of WWF and WCW as part of the deal. IOW CarrolL: Plus gets some commermative belts and some other shit like that. IOW CarrolL: Either he'll be on this Monday's RAW and the RAW special, or he'll be at the RAW special and WrestleMania. The deal is for two events total. IOW CarrolL: *waits for confirmation that you won't tell anyone or post on the site about the other two guys* ScotsmanWU: Yeah I won't post it on any site.
Chunk Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Seems a little fake to me. How did it end up here? Does anyone know what Bret' official page is (so i dotn have to search to find it?) ChUnK!
Guest NoSelfWorth Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 You forgot the part where they announced a special appearence by Bruiser Brody.
Guest Mole Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Plus, WWE also signed Ultimate Warrior to a 2 deal show. He will show up for Raw this Monday, to wrestle Triple-Juice. Once he finds out he has to job, he growls a bit, and walks out. Don't even try to kid me that Hart might come back monday for the Raw I'll be at. That is like getting sucker punch. It's plain old mean man. Mole

Does anyone know what Bret' official page is (so i dotn have to search to find it?) ChUnK! http://www.brethart.com Nothing much there, most is under construction. Awesome article on the Montreal Screw Job though, very detailed. FUCK YOU SHAWN MICHAELS! UYI - Marking for Bret since 92
Guest tank_abbott Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 you all doubt the journalistic integrity of The Scotsman?? www.scotsmanility.com
Guest Ravenbomb Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 isn't Hogan already under contract?
Guest Eagan469 Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 yeah, but his contract may have run out while he was suspended

Guest Vyce Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 But I'm almost certain that Austin IS under contract, he's just been suspended (or whatever term they're using to describe his absence). So that right there strikes me as bogus. How can he be "signed" if he's already under contract.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Journalistic integrity and Scotsman don't belong in the same sentance. Neither does Scotsman and quality writing now that I think about it.
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Scotsman is quite funny in a childish kind of way. Austin isn't suspended or anything. He is under contract but at home.
Guest Brian Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Hogan's still under contract. So is Austin. Anyways, it's Scotsman.

Guest AndrewTS Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Hogan didn't have a contract, it was a per-appearance deal I believe.
Guest The Old Me Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 I don't believe the guy who was IM'ing Scotsman, and it doesn't sound like Scotsman did either. Wasn't there someone on here in love with Scotsman, like writing stories about him and shit?
Guest Brian Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Hogan signed a three-year deal based on so many appearances. Hogan is now saying that his contract was breached because he worked far too many dates; the other end to that is when he accepted the world title, not a guarantee in his contract, that he accepted a full-time schedule for that period. He also claims he's physically unable to keep up and needs time to promote his book.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Shouldn't this be moved to fantasy booking?
EL DANDY~! Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Journalistic integrity and Scotsman don't belong in the same sentance. Neither does Scotsman and quality writing now that I think about it. Hey, hey, HEY! As somebody who WORKS with Scots over at TheSmarks at 411, I can safely say that...you're absolutely right...
Guest NoSelfWorth Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Hogan's contract expires on the 25th of January. He's fulfilled his contracted dates though, and may use that as a way out of the deal.
Guest Mole Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 SCSA was 'taken off the active roster' which bascially means he was suspended. Mole
Guest crandamaniac Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 you all doubt the journalistic integrity of The Scotsman?? www.scotsmanility.com If you was trying to prove that this was true, I'd at least try and spell the website address right.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 I never thought I'd say it, but I refer you to bob_barron.
