Tom and CJ have been alternating Velocity for a while now and we still haven't found a suitable replacement. If anyone is interested in recapping Velocity on a full time basis, please contact myself or Tom.

This is NOT first come first serve...just so you know. We're looking for writers who have a great knowledge of wrestling and can make reading a review of a B-show interesting.

Good luck.

Well, you couldn't deny that I would be interesting. :)

Hell, I forget about Velocity nine times out of ten anyway.

I'd like to give it a shot. If I can remember, I'll tape Velocity next weekend and give it a go. I have experience with The Smarks and I have always wanted to write-up a wrestling recap.

EDIT: Misspelled "tape"...not a good sign.

Hey Dames, am I supposed to be doing the recap for TE3? I emailed Week 8 to you and Dr. Tom. I asked Dr. Tom what he thought via PM, and he mentioned that he thought he already replied to me in email. I haven't received anything, negative or positive, since. I still have Week 8 saved in my folder if you didn't get it. (Damn YaHell! Damn it straight to hell!)

I'd also like to give it a shot. I have some experience writing columns, but never a recap, which could be fun.

I am completely unsuitable for this job, because I meet none of your criteria, and I don't get Velocity. However, you could still give me the job if you like.

I might be interested... it all depends on the salary and the benefits. 401 k? Dental? Details damnit, I want details!

I'm willing to give it a shot. Not next week though, since I'd be taping it and have to do it on Sunday, but going to be watching the Rumble with buds, but week after next I'll do a recap for ya.

IM me details.

Oh, and am I obligated to recap Albert matches?

I would like to give it a shot. I have had experience in columns, so that can help me recap. I could see the show on time(cable in my room...sweet), and get you the recap the next day.

Okay, I'll recap SD tonight after taping it, and send it to ya.

I'm in, I'll either make up a recap for Smackdown tonight, or I'll recap some wrestling PPV I have lying around.

When does the report have to be in? And do we have to recap all the moves and everything like Scott Keith and other losers?

I'm having to drop out of trying-out. I wasn't even home last night, nor will I hardly ever be from now on.

Well I tried to recap, but I just can't do it. I know what to say if I were talking to myself, but putting it down for others to read is a bit harder than anticipated. My knowledge of moves would result in more like a move comparison (i.e. Sliced Bread #2 = Acid Drop into a Slop Drop) rather than knowing when a Fujiwara Armbar is applied. I'd end up sounding like Vince doing play-by-play "Whattamaneuver" and "holy crap that was cool" (ok maybe not that last one). So, I'll just stick to being a forum smartass and enjoying those who can recap coherently for others.

Dental??? Hah! Dames' teeth (all three of them) are living on borrowed time. 401K? Invest in Enron first. Seriously, once I finish moving into the new house and setup the recording equipment, I can start doing my monthly comp giveaways for best article. That's about the only incentive you have with the exception of the possibility that a wrestler or wrestling management might read your work.

Damn- All you get at 411 is the possibility of getting a free copy of Scott Keith's book

Well, I got mine in on Friday...felt like I was writing a very long wrestling match.

I was considering going with a different rating system, that wasn't based on stars...but there weren't any matches on Thursday (I recapped Smackdown) that I could effectively put a different system to.

Benefits, eh? Well, I've gotten that Klez Worm quite a few times since I started writing for TSM. Yeah... that's about it.
