One reason I don't like Test is because his matches are so predictable. They usaully go like this:

 

1) Test gets "major, hard hitting" offense

2) Test allows the other guy to get a move

3) Test kicks the guys ass some more

4) Random yelling

5) Test hits the big boot

 

Boring shit.

No, he always used to bust his ass an just suck, which was actually kind of sad, but since about May, he as adopted a "why even bother" type attitude. It really showed starting last Fall.

The longer post I tried get stuck and didn't post, but here are plenty more similarities.

 

Has had only one over catchphrase.

 

Most over gimmick was based upon a sexual body part.

 

Horrible mic skills and no charisma.

 

Blond hair, roid-like physique (zits, had manboobs...)

 

Constantly pushed. Pushes fail. So push him again.

 

JR and other announcers give verbal blowjobs about his potential as a main eventers.

 

After sucking constantly, hair was shortened and put in short tights.

 

Needs to leech off heat machines or hot valets for much of a reaction.

 

Limited power move arsenal and no concept of how to put a good match together. Able to stink up the ring even vs. SD!6 wrestlers.

 

Differences?

 

Billy Gunn sells better.

 

Test hasn't won a KotR or been in a really over face stable.

I don't think Test will win. He'll be the guy that makes it to the tournament or the finals but in the end lose to the bigger hoss.

But god I hope he doesn't beat Jericho. Let's bitch more about Test/Jericho!

Austin was already a star and would have became a main eventer without the KotR win. Ditto for Bret Hart. It just CEMENTED them as stars.
