Agent_Bond34 Posted January 24, 2003 Report Posted January 24, 2003 Since it hasn't been posted anywhere on here that I know of... here it is The draft order
Guest the pinjockey Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 we ought to do our own Mock Draft just for shits and giggles, everyone picks a team. And if this ever does come to fruition I claim the Eagles because I don't care how far ahead of where he is actually supposed to go is I am getting a WR that can run a 4.3-4.4 40 dammit.
Guest Choken One Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 I call the Bengals cuz they have it easy Tagilbue: Um, Due to the incompence of the Cincinnati Bengals...They like forgot to set their alarms and their draft pick will be given to Detroit. Detroit Lions are now on the clock.
Guest the pinjockey Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Well, maybe the Bengals will have traded the pick before draft day and they will get to wake up a little later.
Guest Choken One Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Conventional Wisdom would make you assume that but Hell, Living in Cincy...That's been thrown out the window since '92.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 I call the Bills so that I don't have to do any work.
Guest Redhawk Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 It looks like Byron Leftwich is going to be a Chicago Bear. That's fine with me, as long as he isn't stuck with the Bengals. I mean at least the Cardinals have the hot weather going for them and David Boston.
Guest the pinjockey Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 I doubt Boston will resign with the Cards. But they do have Kevin Kasper and Jason McAddley. I feel bad for the next Arizona QB.

Guest the pinjockey Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Doesn't Buffalo belong to NE?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Indeed. That way I don't have to make a pick.
Guest Choken One Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Do we go ahead and Make our Picks or what?
Guest bravesfan Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Do we go ahead and Make our Picks or what? Uh, yeah, go ahead.
Guest imajackoff? Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Shouldnt we do this closer to Draft Day? I call the Ravens. (sorry Tom and Marvin)
EL DANDY~! Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Poor NoCal Mike, he's gonna be MIGHTY pissed when he founds out I took the Skins...
Guest lomasmoney Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 I wanna be the lions so i can take a quarterback with the second pick
Guest Kingpk Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 I'll take the Pats. Two first round picks close to each other (they get Buffalo's) should make for an interesting time.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Shouldnt we do this closer to Draft Day? I call the Ravens. (sorry Tom and Marvin) Probably. They haven't had those overrated combines were players make huge jumps in the draft. Either way would be fine, we can always have a 2nd mock draft, closer to the actual draft. A quick question. Are you picking the player you think your team would draft, or who you want your team to draft?
Guest bravesfan Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 This mock draft will probably happen at the beginning of February, when the sports die down. There will be an official thread, so the Bengals rep. (Choken One) can make the first selection, write up a couple of reasons why that player would fit the franchise, then on to #2 (who has his pick from the remaining players on the draft board), etc. <<Are you picking the player you think your team would draft, or who you want your team to draft?>> The latter. Or else the representatives for the Bengals, Lions and Cardinals will have their hands full.... Bryan, we could *pretend* Buffalo has that pick, so go ahead. Or make the pick as a 2nd representative for New England.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Im gonna take: looks at list .. no Skins coughGrossmancough no Ravens coughsomeWRcough Bah... I'll take whoever wins the Super Bowl
Guest RobJohnstone Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 I just hope that leftwich sneaks tot he 5th or 6th spot so the cardinals can snatch him up. --Rob
Guest Vern Gagne Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Bryan, we could *pretend* Buffalo has that pick, so go ahead. Or make the pick as a 2nd representative for New England. Not to nitpick but let's keep it accurate. New England has the pick not Buffalo.
Guest DrTom Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 See, had I called the Ravens, I would have said, "Trade up and pick Byron Leftwich." But since I didn't, I'll just watch from the sidelines and jeer the poor schlep who has to follow such a magnificent suggestion.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 See, had I called the Ravens, I would have said, "Trade up and pick Byron Leftwich." But since I didn't, I'll just watch from the sidelines and jeer the poor schlep who has to follow such a magnificent suggestion. The Ravens need a Wide Reciever. The Ravens can't expect to do well and have Todd Heap be their #1 reciever. I took the Winner of the Super Bowl, but the Bucs don't have a pick in the first round since it belongs to Oakland in the John Gruden Trade. So therefore, I get to pick for Oakland's 2nd pick. If it were any other team, I'd say they would probably trade them both, but they need to get some young players so they will probably use both.
Rob E Dangerously Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 The Cardinals could draft Chris Simms or Jason Gesser or any west coast QB
