Guest Dace59 Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 I think I know what one you're on about. Did it have a list of move catagories down the side. Like: Drivers Crushers Bombs Etc? If it was, it's just taken straight from the BBoWM. A little better, but not much.
Guest Downhome Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 I think I know what one you're on about. Did it have a list of move catagories down the side. Like: Drivers Crushers Bombs Etc? If it was, it's just taken straight from the BBoWM. A little better, but not much. Yes, I do believe that is the one. Even if it wasn't perfect, it was still the best one that I ever found. Would you have the address to it? If you do not like that one at all, what would you suggest to use as a source to look up moves, learn moves, etc...?
Guest Dace59 Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Nope, dont have the adress. It went down due to bandwithd issues. Went back up a year later, then vanished. I dont like any of the moves sites. Though, to be fair, when the moves where under the right names, the Descs where pretty good. But they tended to be under the wrong names or technical terms. Source for learning stuff? Me. MSN addy in profile.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Doesn't the DVDR site have a big moves list?
Guest Dace59 Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Yes, it;s the BBoWM, which is a source of evil across the planet.
EL DANDY~! Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 The BBoWM is not exactly the greatest book in history. I mean, shit, some of things are way to complicated to read...
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 And, as Dace has pointed out, incredibly inaccurate.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Well I've never actually been there just heard about it. But I'll be sure to steer clear now.
Guest AndrewTS Posted February 2, 2003 Report Posted February 2, 2003 Another variation--Osaka Street Cutter. Start from a reverse vertical suplex position (stand behind, wrap arm around opponent's neck and use the other to grab tights), and suplex backwards, ending with a Stunner. Probably most WWE guys wouldn't take that move, save for cruisers.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted February 2, 2003 Report Posted February 2, 2003 Well, the move is pretty much just a modified inverted suplex, and I've seen the inverted suplex done before in WWE, so this could happen one day...in theory. Will it? Doubtedly.
Guest Dace59 Posted February 2, 2003 Report Posted February 2, 2003 The D Cutter (Not the D Stunner, which is Dephlins High Angle DDT), yer, just Inverted Suplex to Stunner. Slightly smother than it is in the SD games, but not hard to take. There's also the Shotgun which a vertical suplex, twisted round into a Stunner (Masato Tanaka, Mikey Whipwreck, Trent Acid once or twice)
Guest Mr. Slim Citrus Posted February 2, 2003 Report Posted February 2, 2003 Here's a question for my WDN buddy: on some occasions, the BBoWM will refer to something, and Dace will say it's something else. I'm not saying that Dace is lying, or even wrong; in fact, I'm inclined to give Dace the benefit of the doubt. But, who decides?
Guest Dace59 Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 For Technical Terms: The Dictonary, amtaure wrestling. For Descs: People that uses the moves well. The book has a hard time matching these two up. Isn't consist in it's terms, are able to use them in a wide enough range.
