Guest BoboBrazil Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Test and Stacy Keibler were not at Raw last night due to the blizzard that hit the east coast over the last few days, which snowed them in their Baltimore, MD home. By Sunday the storm, which dumped more than a foot of snow on many areas, shut down airports up and down the eastern seaboard. From what I was told, there is heat on the pair from the WWE office due to the fact that they didn't get out of town sooner. The feeling is that since the blizzard was forecasted days in advance, they should have left for Columbus, OH on Saturday, before the snow hit. Due to them not being there, Test's match with Chris Jericho was not mentioned on Raw last night and as it stands right now, will not take place on the PPV. The timing was even worse when you consider that the WWE wrestlers that were on the road have battled horrible weather conditions all weekend but still made their shots. 1wrestling.com
Guest bob_barron Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Poor Jericho- I wonder what they do with him now. Even though 1bob is always a questionable source
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 That explains it. Test vs. Jericho wasn't built up enough anyways.
Guest bob_barron Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 I think it was- Jericho lays out manager, doesn't apologise- Test wants to kick his ass.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 So who does Jericho face at the ppv now? Jeff Hardy again? Do we get a tag rematch from yesterday's raw?
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Yeah, but nothing else happened after that. IMO, that would have been the most pointless match at NWO. Test lost valuable time yesterday to get their feud even better.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Their match is still listed at the NWO site, but that doesn't really mean anything these days.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 The match will probably happen on the next Raw. That is what usually happens.
Guest tpww7 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Good, I wasent exactly looking forward to Test-Jericho.
Guest tpww7 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Jericho- Jeff Hardy will probably replace it in some sort of gimmick match, not sure what though.
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 I'd say go Booker/Jericho as a last minute resort.
Guest cpac Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Hopefully they fire stacy. I lost all respect I had for her when she started dating that buck tooth idiot.
Guest tpww7 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 I thought Booker/Batista was going to happen??
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 I thought Booker/Batista was going to happen?? *shrugs* Just had another thought....they can't do an HBK/Jericho angle at the PPV unless it's a double turn because it's in Montreal. Man, they have fucked themseleves with this one.
Guest bob_barron Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 HBK is going to be in Toronto (location of RAW) the day before No Way Out (in Montreal) so I don't think he'll be there. Maybe they could do Test/Hardy v. Chris-tain or something
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Jericho/Hardy and HBK/Christian. IT MAKES SENSE
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Maybe they could do Test/Hardy v. Chris-tain or something I don't think Test will be on the PPV.
Guest bob_barron Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 No it doesn't since HBK will get booed out of the building which is not what they need. Plus Jericho just beat Hardy last week
Guest jester Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 "Test, we don't mind that you can't wrestle worth shit. Or that you have the personality of a dead carp. Or that you have the acting skills of Elizabeth Berkley's less talented sister. Or that you look like Kevin Nash's corpse with a haircut. Or that we've tried several billions ways to get you over and have failed each time. But dammit, this Blizzard business is unacceptable!"
Guest tpww7 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 But Jericho wants revenge for Hardy beating him this week.
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Yeah, they need to keep HBK off the PPV if they want him face for Mania. Jericho has no where to go, and since Booker has no where to go (for the PPV at least), they could just say "2 Rivals that never settled the score", have a quick video package from...oh say right before Survivor Series to now and just let them go 10 minutes to kill time.

That's too much thinking for the WWF.
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 But Jericho wants revenge for Hardy beating him this week. But that's silly to put it on PPV, because they just wrestled 2 weeks ago for like 10 minutes. Then again, the only things saving this PPV is Rock/Hogan and Austin's return.
Guest bob_barron Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 But then you've booked youself into a corner. You can't job Jericho since he's facing HBK. You can't job Booker since he's facing HHH.
Guest tpww7 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 I'm all for no Jericho/Hardy, I just think that's the way it'll end up being. I'd like to see Jericho inserted int he HHH-Steiner match to make that watchable.
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 But then you've booked youself into a corner. You can't job Jericho since he's facing HBK. You can't job Booker since he's facing HHH. Oh who said it needed to be a clean finish? Have Christian run down, Jeff Hardy, Test (If he's not too much in the doghouse), Goldust, Evolution (to get Goldust) and have the faces clean house (and pushes Booker against Evolution for Mania even more).
Guest crandamaniac Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Why not just have Jericho come out, and do like he did that one time in WCW when he supposedly didn't have an opponent for the CW title. He comes out, says he's going to entertain the fans since his scheduled opponent pussied out of their match. Then have Booker T run down, challenge Jericho to a match, and they put on a barn burner. Sure it's filler, but then again, it's not a bad idea.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 So I guess we'll have to wait to see if Jericho can make Test look like a real wrestler.
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Heh, just had somewhat of a funny idea. Have Jericho put in the Walls of Jericho, but Booker reverses it, then have everyone run down. Original finish to Survivor Series 97 match, minus Walls of Jericho, Booker, and Jericho.
Guest TonyJaymzReloaded Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 No wonder its been so cold the last couple of days and snowy....Test took all the damn heat!
