Guest IB2BLACK Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 And he's already the most entertaining guy in the company, already. He doesn't miss a beat.
Guest EternallyLazy Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 agreed... but the problem is... he's TOO entertaining. The fans are going to be dying to cheer him in a few weeks if he keeps this up
EL DANDY~! Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 I can't get enough of him...I just want more...
Guest myburninghammer Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 Dude, he and Jericho just saved Raw. Enjoy it while it lasts....
Guest Human Fly Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 The fans will want to cheer him, but he'll be gone soon enough again. And when he's against Stone Cold they'll be firmly behind Steve. Tonight on Raw he was classic though. One of the best one night performances by a wrestler in years.
Guest Eagan469 Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 Rock is my new personal Jesus he's insanely great - can't say enough about him
Guest Shanghai Kid Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 I'm gonna miss Rock when he leaves for movies...but we should all treasure the Rock while he's still on tv every week.
Guest LaParkaMarka Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 It's crazy how one guy can make or break a show like that. Raw without Rock = crap, Raw with Rock = gold. Three cheers for everyone's favorite heel.
Guest Austin3164life Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 Rock was in good form tonight. Can't freakin' wait until Rock and Austin confront each other next week. Finally something to look forward to without Triple H's promos.
Guest bravesfan Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 The last GREAT period of RAW Shows -- July - August 2002, with Rock reigning as the Undisputed Champion. The next great period of RAW Shows -- February - March 2003, with Rock back to his good 'ole heel work. It ain't a coincidence.
Guest wwF1587 Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 the rock just seems to get better each time he comes back... i dont want him to leave again..
Guest TheCynicalHateMongerFromHell Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 The Rock was absolutely amazing tonight.
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 So many funny parts...sitting there clapping for Booker T spread eagle on the floor. "He's pretty good." "By the way, JR, The Rock loves the Bar-b-Q sauce" "Get a shot of the Rock drinking some water." "It was a special effect!" "He said Toronto, yay!" I love the Rock.
Guest AndrewTS Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 Raw was good. We had no HHH on. Coincidence?
Guest creativename Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 The Rock-Hurricane promo was awesome, I loved it. The pops that Hurricane got were really surpising as well--just huge. Gotta give Hurricane some credit for being over despite his jobbing, but no doubt a lot of that is the Rock rub too. It truly does suck that Rock will leave after Mania--wrestling is a lot better off with him than without. Just imagine the WWE without: Rock, Jericho, Angle, and Benoit. <shudders>
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 Raw was good. We had no HHH on. Coincidence? Whoa. Way to totally discredit all of Rock's work. We've had HHH-less Raws that sucked before. He didn't appear until the very end of the one after SurSer and it blew.

We've had HHH-less Raws that sucked before. He didn't appear until the very end of the one after SurSer and it blew. True--but imagine if Rock's airtime had been given to HHH. Don't mean to discredit Rock, no, not at all. While HHH-less Raws weren't that good either, they were usually a bit better. Oh, and Steiner barely did anything. That helped as well.
Guest ISportsFan Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 The funny thing is about how much of this board didn't want Rock to come back anymore if he's just gonna be "on-again, off-again," but they are now right in the Rock love-fest as soon as he returns. By the way, Rock is the most entertaining man on the planet, much less in WWE. Just give him a match with Benoit at WrestleMania and I'd be even happier than I am now. Jason
Guest Austin3164life Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 What I am looking forward to the most next week is if Rock confronts Austin in the ring on Raw, and they both semi-shoot each other about why they both took off from the WWE last summer. Austin can make it sound like he left for a cause, and Rock will make it sound like he left to be a superstar in Hollywood and make his millions. It would be gold. SCSA- "I left 'cause I wanted ta show this place how bad it stunk, Rocky! Yer ass didn't make it any better talkin' about how this is 'home' for The Rock! What'd you do, yer prima-donna sissy ass went straight t' Hollywood makin' shitty films!" ROCK- "Rock doesn't give a damn, Austin. The Rock left 'cause he wanted to make his millions of dollars, and he don't give a damn about his millions of fans. The Rock's #1 priority is THE ROCK, and his millions (crowd cue) and millions of...BENJAMINS!" Some kind of exchange like this would seriously rule. With Rocky in good form, and a fresh Austin it would be gold. Makes me dying to watch next week's Raw already.
Guest phoenixrising Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 Rock's got the Hollywood thing down pat. Love the new entrance with the chopper flying over L.A.. He was able to turn the crowd completely against him in the span of a 15 minute promo that kept the crowd into the interview instead of dozing off. And Toronto is the first city to lose it's "singalong" privilege. For me, that was the funniest part of the night. Stuff with Hurricane was also good - Hamburglar vs. the Scorpion King. It's gonna suck when he leaves again.
Guest Army Eye Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 "He said Toronto, yay!" part that made me lose it was "that's where WE live!!"

I save all my hate for Austin. I just wanted the fancy shirts and the Rolexes and the heel attitude back. Sure, he's wearing an Austin vest instead, but this is just as good I guess.
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 if we have Hurricane vs. Rock on Raw, I will forever be a fan of Heel Rock.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 Why is everyone going crazy? I mean we all KNEW that this was going to happen. We knew it'd be awesome. Let's not be suprised.
Zetterberg is God Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 When the Rock leaves again, it will be a very sad day. His whole heel run right now should be considered one of the best of all time, and it's only three shows in.

His whole heel run right now should be considered one of the best of all time, and it's only three shows in. One of the best heel runs ever? Come on now. If things weren't so completely shitty in the WWE and they were putting out decent shows, Rock's latest comeback wouldn't be viewed as the Second Coming. Yes, I'll admit, the guy is the best thing going for Raw (perhaps all of WWE), but there are still things the WWE needs to do in order to save the ratings.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 There's just something about him now. He doesn't have this "I'm a bigger star than everyone here" aura like he had in his face run. He seems more down to earth and more on everyone else's level. Don't know what it is.....

Because heels in WWE not named HHH are booked as pussies.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 One of my favourite things The Rock did last night was do commentary like old heel Rock used too. I used to love it how Rock would take his opponent and talk trash and kick his ass at the same time.
Guest kane3212321 Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 Is it me or is The Rocks new entrance REALLY surreal?
